Solace - FFA asymmetrical map on Alpine

Solace is an asteroid field map made on the Alpine canvas. It works best with FFA or team slayer. The power weapons are the shotgun, plasma caster, and overshield. Solace uses a diverse yet excessive amounts of verticality to the an overall flow of fluidity. The map is optimized for 6 player Free for All. The asymmetry flows well with the design. Many routes leading to different areas of the map that don't feel overdone or too cramped.

sleepydeadpool updated Solace with a new update entry:

Matchmaking Submission Changes

Solace now works with team slayer and team strongholds. The attributes of the map are now suited to the rules of the matchmaking contest submission requirements. Named locations are added as well as new cinematics. Position of shotgun moved so as not to blend into the block. New small aesthetics as well as routes have been added.

Solace 1.2

A new ledge has been added. Boundaries made more obvious. Rock step to get around Flank Steak. Overshield and plasma caster switched places. Railgun now in position of current overshield spawn only for the strongholds gamemode.
