Otherwise known as "Snowmageddon", "The Snowpocalypse", and "The Unsually Large Snow Storm". If you live in the US, you probably have been hearing about this huge snow storm. So how is this storm affecting you, and what do you make of it? In my opinion, it's quite interesting. You may not think so, but it isn't everyday (or every decade for that matter) that Louisiana school shutdown for snow.
Its like 50 degrees outside. I have to wear a sweatshirt. My life is ruined. On a more serious note, my mother is freaking the hell out that her mother is going to get snowed in and not be able to get help if she needs it (she's recovering from surgery). Its making things really unpleasant in my house, but I hope my mom's just overreacting about the danger to my gramma.
Yeah, all we have is 9 inches here in Chicago, it isn't that big of a deal. I lol at all these schools closing down because they got like an inch of snow though.
I heard it freaking snowed in texas! The 3 states where i thought was highly unlikely to snow in was Texas, Florida, and California! Oranges are freezing over in Florida, kids in Dallas going crazy and not attending school because they saw snow! What is the world coming to!
A lot of North Jersey's snow has melted by now, but I believe we are going to be getting hit again with more snow on Monday. Which is quite annoying since there are piles and piles of snow laying around.
Yea in Jersey, my town got around 15 inches or so - 2 snow days in a row this week. Now I have break and will be venturing to Florida, so it better not be snowing there.
My grandma even told me there was a coating of snow in SouthCarolina snowing in South Carolina? wtf how often does that happen.
Only place Vegas has snow is Mt. Charleston. It looks beautiful from town, looking up and seeing a pure white Mountain.
Lol as much as its a big deal that it snowed in the southern states I still lol because MN is always snowy in the winter and we have average temps of 0-10...and I go outside in a sweatshirt and think its warm out. So it is not bad and schools in the south should NOT be closing because of one inch of snow..sure it gets a little slippery with even one inch but you drive slow and the snow will melt in a week or so (Since they don't have snow plows) Anyway I think its funny xD
Lovin' az, no snow here(except in flagstaff). I was sitting on my front porch, no shirt, sunglasses, and a soda the other day.
its been on-off snowing 'round here all winter. Were all out of snow days so its not gonna be fun to make those days up. unless we can miss about two weeks worth of school and we wont have to make it up.
ehhh breehhh, there be some tastey barrels down at the shoar. its a brisky 78 degres ou... WTF its winter. I hate heat, cant stand it. I would take snow any day over heat. lucky bitches. Pretty hot in cali.
There's an issue; in Canada, well at least in New Brunswick, there isn't a lot of snow. normally we have about 3 feet of it by now, this year, I can see the grass on my lawn. So unfortunately, whilst you all enjoy your snowdays, I am sitting here, in a t-shirt, sweating.
Ahh, Australian summers... Hot, followed by huge thunderstorms, then a cool spell. Then rinse and repeat. so USA has the same thing that Europe is going through?
