Are you ready for some nostalgia? Snookums combines many aspects of my former tracks with a couple new ideas. The product is a perfect venue for Battletracks gametypes. Not a fan of BT? Don't worry, it plays great with FFA racing as well. With several different types of turns and no man cannons, grav lifts, or shield doors, driver skill is all important on this track. Enjoy.

Yay, valentines day is here with a clean, well-designed track. I can definitely see how you combined some aspects from your previous tracks into this track; I can see Silhouette in there, and maybe even Cherry Kiss. Also, this is what you must've been forgin' lately. 1/1

I'm liking it. I really need to get together a game so that we can play Battletracks or Racetracks at some point. Oh, and you have my DL. Looks very smooth and shiny-riffic. Although, chances are, I'll be falling off of it every other second...

The name is a little weird. However coming from you, it basically works. It's nice to see that you made a new Battle Tracks once again. One major problem that I encountered was, the mongooses are not on instant respawn. This map basically won't work for the BT game variants, simply because there won't be enough mongooses available. I liked the way the turns and banks felt and it was a nice length. The aesthetics really lacked on this map. This was mainly due to the fact that you didn't money glitch the map. I can't even tell if it's an OLN canvas or not. It really seems that you sold yourself short on this on map.

    Pros:

    - Nice interlocking and smooth feel.
    - Anti cheat goal.
    - Nice filter & lighting effects.
    - Great lines of sight.

    Cons:

    - Mongooses not on instant respawn.
    - Landing is bumpy after goal jump.
    - No weapon holders on map.
    - No aesthetics due to lack or canvas map.
    - Spawn is too small and primitive.

    Final Score:

    4/5

Yea, I pretty much feel the same as Dream on this one. It seems like you went kind of lazy on this one. Don't get me wrong, I love your smooth turns but there wasn't much to it. The map was a nice length but it looks too plain. I know aesthetics is not a big deal but this track needs it. I don't like the fact that you just put the weapons laid out on the track, it seems a bit tacky or I don't know, it just doesn't look right. I also didn't like the last jump, I mean it was a little rough sorry to say. You should just start money glitching your maps and use oln canvas. It's not that hard to work with as you say it is. I know I put a lot a negatives but I expected a little more out of you.

The link has been updated to the new version with Mongooses on "instant" respawn. I could have sworn I did that before... :(

I thought the landing was pretty good. It works every time at any speed and didn't seem to affect Mongoose velocity. The landing is going to be "bumpy" with any jump or drop unless you use shield doors like I did with The Barbarian.

What is the point of weapon holders? They just look tacky, and I don't think you need them. If you aren't paying close enough attention to notice a weapon lying on the track, then you don't deserve to pick it up. Weapon holders would take away from the clean look I was going for.

As for aesthetics, what did you expect from me? IMO, the only good thing about aesthetics is the fact that they obscure lines of sight. This track does a good job of that itself, so I didn't include any. Otherwise, aesthetics just distract you from the track, and do they REALLY do anything while you're racing? No. The main reason for the map's design was to create a battletrack that was uncheatable without bordering, man cannons, or grav lifts. Adding structures "attached" to the track would take away from that feel, and, although I could have added floating structures, I didn't feel that they would add to the track in any way.

I'm not sure what you mean about the spawn. It's big enough for the Mongooses, and protects people from getting spawn killed. What more is there to want? If you are talking about the wooden bridges, that's fine, but, again, I just wanted a functioning enclosure that looked clean. It does that. As for being small, that doesn't matter if people are playing by the rules. You can still jump over and walk between the Mongooses. Sure, if you are trying to defend yourself from getting assassinated, it might be a little cramped, but again, as long as people follow the rules, it's not a problem.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad you like it. We just have different opinions on a couple subjects. :)

Thanks to everyone else for the comments, too. I appreciate your input.

I think its great, a lot of people overdo racetracks and end up killing the map. This looks basically simple yet awesome, i could see some great sniper battle track games existing here.

I myself am big on aesthetics, because it's just my way of making an original map. However, even I know that your tracks don't need aesthetics. Your tracks are eye candy already. I liked every aspect of this map, including the way the spawn was set up. Nothing fancy, just something that gets the job done. I was also intrigued by the way you used the Long Wedge pieces in the track's dips. It looked different but served amazing as a transition. Overall, another great map, but that's to be expected, isn't it?

After I have played the track a few times with a nice size party, I can honestly say the the map works great for any racing game variant. The turns and height of each bank really worked out great for long lines of sight. Just to touch on one point that seems to trouble me. Racetrack aesthetics do not have to block lines of sight. A track does not need a tunnel to make it an aesthetic feature. You could put objects on the grid, such as a tower in the distance. In other words track aesthetcs to not have to be in the lines of sight if you don't want them to be. They could be off to the side as well as maybe adding a tunnel or such. I am gald to see that you fixed the link. I would suggest an OLN canvas next time to make the map just a bit more epic. If you need info on how to money glitch just some items, I can offer some advice. Again, the map had great game play. It's just that it seems people are expecting more from Premium members, myself included.

The spawn does work, however it still seemed too small. When a spawn is so small, it's just makes everyting more chaotic. I would have extended the back a little further back. This would give people some more space to wait and or get situated. I know you commented on the size of the Indian Sunset spawn. This spawn is not really an improvement.

Regarding the talk about using an OLN/UBG canvas, I made the track exactly how I wanted it. I had over $200 left over after the track completion. IF I had wanted to add other aesthetics/track features, I would have.
