Sniper Hill

I've got an application to the guild pending right now and it has been suggested that I post some of my maps here for more feedback. Here's the first one. Check it out if you want.

Map/Game Combo: Sniper Hill
This one is simple to explain, control the one central hill while trying not to get sniped. You and your team can try to rush the hill as a group, or you can have a few of your teammates provide sniper cover while you hold it down alone. This is a revival of one of my favorite Halo 2 customs, which we played on Headlong.

There are plenty of sniper spots around the hill, each with its own pros and cons. "Run and Gun" players can rush the hill like any other King of the Hill game. They will earn hill time normally. "Campers" can stay on the perimeter of the map and provide support. They not only support the team by killing the enemies, they also earn 2 points for each kill.

The hill holds a custom powerup and an active camo. In the Sniper Hill gametype, the custom powerup gives the player 150% damage reduction and immunity to headshots for 30 seconds. That means it will take three shots to kill them, no matter where they get shot. You must jump on the radio antennas to get to the active camo. It's a risk to stick your head out for it, but once you get it you'll be nearly impossible to see. As an added feature, you can shoot the radio antennas to make them lean over, preventing players from grabbing the camo.

There are a few weapons on the map, mainly for descriptive purposes. It's easier to say, "sniper by the turret" than, "sniper by that bunker thing with the air lift... the one near the dropship." You might see a few plasma pistols, some beam rifles, some more sniper rifles, and one turret. None of these should have a big impact on how the game is played. You'll see a drop pod lacation, a turret location, and a covenant box location.
