"Snarl" is a rotationally-symmetrical map consisting of multiple levels of platforms and walkways built just above the water around a rock spire. The map has both areas for close quarters combat and long lines of sight for sniping, and four man cannons positioned around the map provide quick transit from the lower outsides of the map to the central top platform.

Incorporating feedback from here and playtests with friends I've made a few tweaks:

    • Added cover on the corner platforms which were previously too exposed
    • Changed grenade placement - 8 plasma grenades total, spaced evenly around the outside of the map both high and low
    • Added a small ledge extension to the open sections of the upper central walkways so a well timed/aimed jump using sprint will get you all the way to the upper outer walkways
    • Added more respawn points and tweaked spawn zones
    • Added needle rifles on the "orange" and "green" sides
    • Added medkits on the corner platforms

Currently, the map is set up for FFA, team slayer, capture the flag, and multi team (up to 4 teams, trying to figure out how to balance spawn points for 6), and I'm planning to add a few more, including stockpile.

Constructive criticism, general feedback, and suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated! If you would like to test the map with me or if you're looking for testers please friend me on XBL, gamertag "Drew Baye" and send me a message letting me know you're from ForgeHub.

    Thanks!
