    Skyline Citadel

A flying fortress stocked with aircraft and anti-air guns. Fight for the station high above the ground.

First off, this is my first map on Halo 3 Forge, so I don't know all the tricks (i.e. geomerging, ghost merging, switches, etc.). Please comment on any glitches, awkward parts, or generally strange stuff. Also give me some tips on how to improve.

    General Overview

Here's a picture of the map, overlooking pretty much everything.

As you can see, it's basically two bases with a giant station in between them. There's also a sniper tower roughly in between the two bases.

    Bases

There is a red base and a blue base, both roughly equal distance from the station. Each base has the same amount of weapons and equipment.

    Blue Base

Each base has two spawn rooms, each with 4 Battle Rifles, 4 Carbines, 1 Rocket Launcher, and grenades. 1 Sniper Rifle is in the center, along with 1 Missile Pod.

Players must use the honor system to prevent spawn camping in the base, unless you can give some suggestions to prevent spawn camping.

After the game starts, players have 30 seconds in their bases to grab weapons. After 30 seconds, a man cannon appears in the mouth of the base to propel them to the station.

    The Station

The Station consists of three main parts: hangars, first level, and second level.

The second level has 4 Warthogs, which act as Anti-Air Guns. They are blocked off by Shield Doors to prevent them from driving off, which in turn makes the chaingun turret the only practical option.

You get up to the second level by Grav Lifts on the first level. Brute Shots are also scattered throughout the first level.

The first level also has four ascending walkways that lead up to the hangars. Each hangar has one aircraft on it, containing a total of 2 Banshees and 2 Transport Hornets, each with a 10 second respawn time.

Players must once again use the honor system to prevent spawn camping of the enemy's base by aircraft, especially the Hornet. However, the bases are armed with Anti-Air weapons to decrease the chances of this happening.

No Spartan Lasers are located anywhere on the map.

    Sniper Tower

The Sniper Tower is a V-shaped structure, much like the bases.

As you can see, there are two chutes leading down into the main room of the tower. No one can spawn there, so players must take an aircraft over to the tower, exit the vehicle accordingly, and drop down. If you're in the tower and want to get out, you must tell other players to come pick you up. There's a Portable Grav Lift in the tower to propel yourself out of the tower and into the Hornet.

The Sniper Tower has one sniper rifle, one Grav Lift equipment, and two firebomb grenades. It also has a window for sniping, giving a good vantage point of the map. However, the distance from the main battle is pretty far, so you have to lead with the sniper a bit to score accurate hits.

    Conclusion

That's pretty much it. Remember, this is my first map, so please play and comment on any glitches, bugs, and things that aren't supposed to happen. It would also be helpful to post some tips on how I can improve future maps. One more map is coming soon. Enjoy!

Testing is normally meant for the Testers' Guild not the community map forums.

Now for your map, right at the start you have a Missile Pod, 2 Rockets, a Sniper, and Two shotguns (?) in each base. You don't want to give players an "Armory" as we call it, but instead, spread the weapons around the map.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know. You can probably see I'm new here.

There are no shotguns on the map. Yeah, I might try moving the weapons around, perhaps in the station itself. Thanks for the feedback.
