Creator's Note: I realise now how overdone and outdone this concept is, but it's the first thing I've made to completion on Foundry (well the first version was) so I want to share it with the community. Also, I'm not sure how many floating tracks are actually designed with slayer in mind, like this is. The map is effectively a round, floating arena for Team Rockets.

    ---

Version 2 of the incredibly popular (/overstatement) sensation sweeping the Halo community! Picture this: You spawn with a friend on a bridge, one of 16 placed 2-wide in an octagon, behind a Mongoose, armed with a Rocket Launcher and a Gravity Hammer, your team-mate hops in the drivers seat and you jump on to the back. As your driver careens around the track, you realise that the entire thing is suspended above the ground, and that 3 other teams of 2 on Mongeese have their Rocket Launchers aimed at you.

This is the excitement and suspense of Sky Circuit. Think Slayer meets Rocket Race in a Boeing with a hole in the floor. If you somehow get thrown off the track and live, never fear, make your way calmly to the launch pad (now at ground level) and rejoin the fray.

Shield Doors surround the outer edge to keep you in, but their bounce is a lot stronger than you'll expect, perhaps you can even use it to your advantage...

    Anyway, here are the screenshots:

First up, a view from below, showing the sheer size and wonder of this map.

Now, a view from above. Look at the spartan, doesn't he look like he's enjoying himself?

Lastly, a shot of the launch pad, looking up through the stairs to the track.

I really want to get a Custom Game going of at least 4 people, so if you're interested, post here!!

One final thing, anyone recognise my name? I'm the original writer of the Forge Guide, the link to which is stickied in another forum here. Just in case you were wondering...

    Hey! Welcome to ForgeHub!

Here are some tips to getting more downloads.

    1. Save the picture onto your computer by right clicking it and pressing save as...
    2. Go to: http://imageshack.us/.
    3. Once there click Browse.
    4. Search for the saved picture. It'll be where ever you saved it.
    5. Double click the picture to select it.

P.S. NO LINKS TO FILE SHARE. It's a general rule.

Hmm, that imbedding doesn't look like it worked...

Anyway, you say no links to File Share? How are we supposed to get people to download it if they don't know where to download it from? Do I have to publish the file at Bungie.net first?

The reason why the embed didn't work is because the close tag should be [/img], not [/url]. I've replaced 'em below so you can copy/paste over it if you want.

    Code:
First up, a view from below, showing the sheer size and wonder of this map.
    [img]http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q1/weremidget/17464989-Full.jpg[/img]

EDIT: Ack! Beat me to it.

Anyway, as you said, it's been kinda overdone, but I guess it could be used for a few minutes of fun with team rockets.

Thanks, Tameheart. What kind of maps are the ones that people around here do want to see?

There are indeed several rules to follow, but they are really there to help everyone (especially those posting maps). If you follow the posting guidelines, your presentation will be very readable and include pictures with detailed descriptions. Who knows, maybe a large gaming site will even link to the forums on their front page and your great post will attract the attention of hundreds of players. :)

As far as this map is concerned, I would consider using Interlocking Items for the bridges to help alleviate some of the bumpiness and need for pallets.
