Ok, so Skrillex and Deadmau5 are pretty much 2 of the biggest players in the electro/house/dubstep scene at the moment, and there has been a LOT of arguing about who is better. Deadmau5 YouTube - Deadmau5 - Ghosts n Stuff and Skrillex (Sonny Moore formerly of FFTL) YouTube - SKRILLEX - Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites Personally I prefer Skrillex. I just like his sound better, and perhaps I'm a little biased by the fact that FFTL was and always will be one of my favorite bands. I really want him to remix one of their old songs. Anyways, who do you guys prefer?
..You can't compare two different songs, lol. Skrillex is new to the scene and he's everywhere, he does Dubstep, House, Electro, and I think some Drum 'n' Bass. Mau5 is a legend and he's more Electro and House even though he's been dipping his feet in our filthy Dubstep lately. You can compare Ghosts 'n' Stuff with this I guess.. YouTube - My Name Is Skrillex (Skrillex Remix) And I'm more of a Dubaholic, but I do get down with the Mau5 once in a while.
Well, if the question is "Who do you prefer?" rather than "Who's better?".. I prefer Skrillex, but Rusko is still my favorite.
They're both as good as each other IMO. I've known about each just as long as each other, but Deadmau5 has more songs I like then Skrillex.
mau5's new album should be compared to skrillex, not his old stuff. one of my favourites from skrillex's album when wanting to chill is with your friends, the long drive remix. deadmau5's stuff is lengthy house (way easier to mix) and skrillex is four minutes of filth. it's great.
Comparing Skrillex to Deadmau5 is rather silly considering they are artists of different genres. Thats like asking whos better between ' Beathoven and Bob Marley '- see they are both great in their own right. It might be helpful to know Deadmau5 signed Skrillex to mau5trap records, thereby launching his career. So you might say Skrillex is his prodigy in some sense. ... But I personally enjoy them both, even though Deadmau5 is a hater and a hypocrit.
If I was a girl I'd fling my bra at both, but I prefer mr. Mau5's original music and i like Skrillex's remixes of ****. Off-Topic: I also want to bum Nero.
Wow, dig up an oldie, eh? Personally, I prefer Skrill to what I've heard of Mau5. Admittedly, I haven't tried to listen to deadmau5, but have sat down and listened to Skrillex on Youtube a few times. My personal favourite is the song he did for the Syndicate trailer. Watching it in conjunction is just awesome, as it suits it so well, but I think there's an extended version floating around somewhere. I recommend listening to both.
I think I would like Mau5 more if I knew what songs to listen to..... I personally like Skrillex remixes the best, out of all dubstep, but I should give mau5 more of a chance sometime.
