epic..............WIN!!! This is a great map but not the best 4.75/5 I LOVE IT!!!!! This is also very escapable unless you deleted the roof or something...
Whilst the layout and creation look very nice. Your map looks incredibly easy to escape from. Grenade jumpers will kill this map. It seems you also have placed some fusion coils, they will also add to the ease of escaping this. Otherwise, it looks like a solid map with a unique layout.
Fantastic Job Interlocking on the map, i just want to say that first as it really stood out as a i looked over your pictures. The River is very well madeas well as the whole map. I think that it looks fantastic and is a really nice team slayer map. Team work looks as if it will be a necessity to win, which i like in a map really well done 5/5 I will download it in a few minutes Only thing that needs improvement is wall height, those walls look pretty low and easy to hop over. But if your playing with a group of guys whom you know are honorable and wont do that then they will probably suffice.
Although you may have made a gametype to prevent escaping, you should try as hard as possible to make your make escape-proof in regular slayer settings so that other gametypes can be played. Also don't link us to your fileshare... Link should lead directly to the files themselves
I can see that you've tried to accomplish by making a custom gametype but chances are most people won't use it. I would still recommend doing something to fix the low heigh of the walls as there is a chance people will just use default gametypes.
Great map. Its really fun to play and kool how you can bounce grenades off the force field in the ditch part.
i like the layout... the interlocking is really smooth... the idea is very creative it looks really good and has an effective layout... and i no u have gotten this alot but did u delete a roof cause this looks EASILY escapable for anyone w/ a want to BREAKOUT... keep the maps coming tho this one looks really great... 4/5
Ok, I guess it is time I signed up to forgehub. Yep, I helped make the map, and if we had enough money left over, we would've made taller walls.
I love those slanted boxes in the second picture, it looks very cool. The layout is very unique. I like that the creek is nice and deep, very cool. I love sniping so that sniper tower looks real tasty. The whole map looks GREAT asthetically but I think gameplay may not be so good. There are a few reasons why: First, having a sword on a map with this many shield doors is a bad idea because it will lead to camping. Second, having an invis will also help the sword campers. And finally, having a bubble shield will help the sword campers. I can imagine some guy(asshole) with the sword, bubble shield, and invis camping under a shield door BAD >=( Also, your map looks easily escapable and that can just ruin gameplay when people start jumping out of the map, it's just no fun at all. When you make V2 you need to build up that wall! I will download and play the map as soon as I can so I can see if my complaints were justified. I'm sorry to critisize your map without playing it first but my xbox has been taken and I wont get it back until october, hopefully when I get it back I can come back to this thread and leave my impressions after playing... Good job =), I'll rate after playing.
nicely made looks fun two ideas get rid of the sword and use infinite money glitch canvas all and all only two complaint theres no roof......and sword campers
I could easily get out of this map witch shows you didn't work that hard to make barriers restricting you from leaving the map. 5.8/10
its great aesthetically, the interlocking is awesome, but since it can be escaped with regular slayer settings, that ruins it for me, 3/5
If you didn't read his 3 or four posts about "Theres a specific gametype to use" you might have worded that differently. It still needs to have higher walls gametype or not, but this look really cool. I will download this next weekend. I think it could be a great map.
