Threads should have a constructive purpose and should maintain a baseline amount of discussion. Members should conduct themselves in a mature and respectful manner. The amount of rules we put forth are minimal, but the forum staff is allowed to moderate at their discretion. There will be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations and posts meant to offend or hurt any other member. This includes videos and images too. No posting or sharing of pornography, graphic, or illegal content. Posting links to other sites or communities is prohibited unless they are approved by the staff, this includes discord links. Links to trusted sites like, Waypoint, Youtube, Imgur, Twitter, and official video game sites or discords are allowed. If you are unsure about a link you are posting then feel free to reach out to a staff member. Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible. What we consider spamming is posting an excessive amount of messages in the shoutbox or threads that do not further a discussion. An example is posting the same thing multiple times in rapid succession. Posting multiple of the same thread may also be considered spamming. Map page boosting of any form is not permitted. What we consider boosting is having friends or community members rating the map without playing on it, using outside sites to inflate download numbers, posting multiple messages on a map page with ill intent or unrelated to the map. Updating your map page with minor updates/versions multiple times in the week to keep it on the front page is also a form of boosting. Fake reviews are also prohibited. Trolling is not permitted. What we consider trolling is the act of deliberately making random unsolicited and/or controversial posts or comments with the intent of provoking readers into a fight or argument. Remember to post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator. A member of staff will notify you when a topic is moved. If a topic or post is seen as breaking any of the guidelines then it will be removed or edited by a moderator and the original poster will be notified. Any impersonation of a user from these forums or of game industry employees, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a warning or ban depending on the severity. Alternate (Alt) accounts are not permitted on this site. If you are found using an alt account to break any of the guidelines or boost your maps rating then those accounts will be banned and you will receive a warning or ban depending on the severity. It is impossible to list everything that isn't stated here so it is recommended that you use your best judgment when posting. As such, any staff member has the right to moderate at their discretion at any time and if a special situation occurs. Please respect them and their decisions for they are here to make the sight enjoyable for everyone. Staff members are indicated by either a red or orange user title and a banner that says 'Staff Member'. As stewards of the site, it's their responsibility to uphold these rules to assure that the site is enjoyable for everyone. If you have a question or disagreement with a decision made by a staff member, please message them directly. If the disagreement cannot be resolved between the parties involved, one of the forum admins will step in and take the action they feel is most appropriate. These rules are universal to all forums, sub-forums, and pages on this site as well as any additional ForgeHub controlled groups such as the Discord and Xbox club.
