That is very amusing but I bet most of those hits are for comments and not the actual map posts.

 

This is by far the best thread I have ever seen. Trolololo I couldn't resist. But seriously (as serious as it gets) that was pretty funny. I actually looked through all of them all the way up to the 5th page, and every one that I read made me laugh.

I think there are lots of phrases which really bug me.

"near perfect remake" Oh, its not a perfect remake? You're already admitting to me that its got mistakes? *skip map*

And "re-imaginations". OK, Bungie used in for Avalanche but just because your remake isn't really that close to the original you don't have to say you re-imagined it.

But "by far the best" is a horrible phrase.

 

BFTB, has a ring too it, this could be the start of something wonderful

 

I make sure I don't make arbitrary judgements like that unless I have evidence to back it up.
Especially on heavily opinionated statements like BFTB.
My comments more or less revolve around 'I've never seen this done before'
Which is acceptable considering It's either original, hasn't been done very many times, or I'm just ignorant to the situation.
Helps a lot in my reviews =)
