Hello ForgeHub. It has been a long time since I posted a map. So here is my newest map, Silver Sand. I personally really like this map. It is origonal in the sense that it is a BTB map made out of literally, random piles of crapn used as a barrier surrounding a map that plays VERY well for game modes such as CTF. But it is more than that. Both sides have a Mongoose and and a Warthog. I decided no to add other vehicles because here is limited room for mobility as you enter the center of the map, where the rocket launcher spawns. Both sides spawn a sniper rifle, 2 DMRs, a needler, and a Needle Rifle. Both sides have a Man Cannon taking you to the center of the map, so expect a heavy fight there. THere is also a grav lift to get to a plasma pistol on the center bridge, which is connected to the barrier of the map. I have tested this map, and it is unbreakable. There are death barriers along to actual map barriers so no one can get out. Now I know what some of you critics are thinking. "This is just a pile of crap surrrounding the coastline and island". Like I already said, it is more than just that. The map plays very well and it is a must have for BTB lovers.
Omg, these random piles of crap, as you call them are BRILLIANT! It looks like Fallout-ish kinda feel, and looks pleasing to play. Alas, I've looked at the pics and see a bottle neck shape out of the boundary, like >< that. I like to be sneaky, and I would love to see more pathways so the >< can turn into a <=>. Might i recommend having part of the barriers like little rooms that one can access? The warthogs are really close to the center of paths. Unless three people with microphones said "OMG GO GET HOGGG" then i could see grenades getting lobbed. As for Driving, this map looks like it would handle a clean ride (LOL) across the straight. Good map, squid, I'd like to play it sometime. (lol, clean ride.)
