Silent Hill: Homecoming

To me, Silent Hill 2 is and will always be the best Silent Hill and one of the best survival horror games I've ever played.

This one is good, though. More like the movie then the previous games, though.

 

my bands named after Silent Hill 2 [thus making me named after it too.]

however, the series always felt a little dry compared to Resident Evil to me.

Ill be picking this up though. Good series.

 

I was pretty close of buying this the other day (but then I was like oh, need money for Fable II) --and I heard from a few that it wasn't all the great... (Doubted them, looks pretty good).... Also I think the 2nd one was awesome-win-sauce. I also have to agree with thesilencebroken.

 

I feel the same as Yahtzee does on this one for the aspect of that Silent Hill: Homecoming is trying too much to be Silent Hill 2, but I still feel that Homecoming is worthy of at least a rent especially if you're a fan of Silent Hill or love survival horror games like I do. I'm hoping Resident Evil 5 will be better, however.

 

I always hated the Silent hill series. The monsters in that game are so freaking SCARY! I can never play that game by myself. I remember i played gears of war with a friend online and i was by myself in my house. The level with the Krill scared the crap outta me...

 

I actually havent played any games like Silent Hill or like Resident Evil, I want to though
I borrowed Resident Evil 4 once but the disc was so ****ed up it wouldnt play

 

Usually when you get older all that stuff doesn't bother you anymore. Stay away from the haunting games for awhile.

Anyhow, the games never really lived up to be played often. It's always been in Resident Evil's shadows, and if they manage to make a game that outdoes it, then I might consider. For now, that game should only be used to make time pass by.
