hey thats pretty good especially for a first time...i like how u used the brushes...ok so a few things i can see on a quick glance, u can do any size really but the normally accepted size i think is 400x150, the problem with this is that its big sideways so u can see alot of blank in the middle (good job with the coloring on the right btw, i like it..), ok..um...u can see edges of the render still sticking out...either use the pen tool method to get rid of the background or use the Quick Mask method....make the border 1 px....good job definately :)

so how do i get rid of the edges of the render but still have the background the same? cause when you say pen it sounds like it will make something totally different and i'm not sure how to do that anyway.

um....well the quick mask way is easy, but i lost my tutorial a while ago...ill hope the pictures can explain, but if it doesnt i can just rewrite it....

basically u hit the button, then white and black are add to mask and take off mask, so u can brush it perfectly, then take off the mask, and delete the outside by inversing it and pressing delete :p this isnt a very good job btw but it does the work usually...i also have a more complex tutorial in pictures but im not sure i remember all the steps...i can look around tho...this was the result...

basically u hit the button and the whole thing turns red right...then u can use normal (circley particularly i used) brushes in black i think to delete from the mask and white to add to the mask...get it perfectly around ur render, then therse an option somewhere to change to selection, choose that, inverse selection so it goes only background, then delete it

or u can try the pen tool...basically, place points (just zoom in far in and click right on the edges..), then somewhere it let u choose 'for selection', then when u press enter, u get a selection, then Select>Inverse, then Delete
