Well, here is a L4D sig my friend made for me. Think its good? Its hard to make an L4D sig, there's like no renders D: But what ya think?
The popout completely wrecked what was kinda there - the gunshot is majorly cut off. Not feeling this, too dark and depressing, no relation to L4D too.
Just so you know, you don't have to have a render to make a signature. There's a thing called stocks... IMO, it's a bit over sharpened and lacks depth.
But most noobs are used to putting their own light source, and the light from the render is a different direction. If you can, try and avoid renders with light sources.
well, this is his first in over 2 years. So there is gonna be major flaws. Oh yeh i know about stock images, he just got this from PR because it was late and he didn't want to cut it out himself. OH OH OH! This has a relation to L4D, if you would have played the game you would have noticed this IS the girl from L4D, nub.
No, Frag Man, you are wrong because you did not understand what I said. I did not say that renders with light sources look bad. I said that renders that have been distorted by light sources look bad.
Wow, I'm not going to say that your quote is wrong, because I have no Idea what the hell you guys are talking about, but that is probably one of the most immature quotes I have read all day. Why is it people have to accuse each other of being wrong instead of just saying politely you think they are wrong? Take it easy, it's just a sig, don't get so worked up about it. Getting back to the topic, I think the sig looks alright, not the best, it could look better. In my opinion, again, the picture is a bit too dark in some areas loosing some of the major detail. I believe the pop-out portion should be removed mainly because most of background within the rectangular portion of the sig does not have any major symbolic detail, and would do just fine to have the person's gun cover it instead. With the pop-out, it just looks a bit too cheezy.
It's just irritating that Frag Man is clearly disagreeing with me for no other reason than just to disagree with me. Try a new render on there.
Actually, now that I've re-read what Frag-man's said, I think he's the one with the most immature statement, partially because he's instigated you. I didn't realize the first time that he had so harshly disagreed with you. Still though, I believe just a couple adjustments would make this sig look fine!
Wow I love how much of a fight you guys got in about this render/light source. But this is the girl from L4D but I've never really liked this look of her(I've seen the render before) and I agree I find that the light source distortion does mess up the image a bit but if you fixed up that render it would be fine like someone else said.
