    Symmetrical Slayer map designed for 4+ Players

    Description:
    Alright. Well, this map is a symmetrical arena using the whole map of Foundry. Weapons are strewn about all over the place, so you don't have to look too hard. I made this map with Slayer only in mind, so there aren't any designated CTF spots or territories....yet. There's an all-seeing turret in the back-center of the room that can totally camp and dominate everyone, but try not to detach it, it's got a long respawn timer. Have fun and feedback is requested.

    Oh. I suppose you'll all want pictures, too.

    Well, I would probably put way too many pictures, so I won't do it.

    Yes. I realize that the boxes aren't quite aligned. I'll deal with it later. Try not to let it bother you too much.

    Again, not straight. I'll fix it later, or if it's REALLY bugging you, fix it yourself. Hell, make a new map out of it for all I care.

    Weapons Locker. If it's there, why SHOULDN'T it be filled with weapons?

    This is the view you get from looking out the right base's "window." Or at least the windows are supposed to be there. I took em out. Enjoy the view.

    There's a sword there, but I'm sure you saw it. Nice spot to chuck a grenade in case anyone decides to go for it. Just sayin'.

    That's me, pointing the turret. As you can see, this baby can spot just about the whole map. Have fun with that.

    Me again, this time with a sniper. You can see just about the whole map from there, and take out, I dunno, maybe a turret or 3 from that spot? :) (There's another one on the other side.)

    This mancannon'll be your trusty transport to get up to the sniper nest. [NOTE: Mancannon on the right (facing the nests) is on a sometimes works basis. For best effects, try crouching to lift you legs up as you get there. Sorry guys. Promise I'll fix it if enough people like it.]

    I like this shot. This one shows the main area of the map from a non bird's eye view. Doesn't capture the anti-symmetry. Probably should have put this one at the top...

    God, I took too many screenshots. Well, this is the last one. It's the useless hallway that no one ever goes into. I dropped a Mauler on either end for some shotgun shenanigans, if you guys are into that. Generally, I'd stay outside. That's where the action is.

    That should do it. Really looking for some feedback, mates. If you find anything besides what I've mentioned here, or if you want to remind me of the stuff I've mentioned, drop a comment, it's really appreciated.

    Oh, and if you like it, you can comment, too. That would be nice.

    EDIT: Erm, it won't find any of the pictures that I linked when I got to my Halo 3 gallery. Everything else seems to work fine. Fear not, I'll make it work.
    EDIT 2: Thanks, guys. Now you can see what I'm talking about for the anti-symmetry. ^_^
    EDIT 3: Uggghhh... I thought the pictures were too big, since I had to scroll left/right to see them, and so I sized em smaller on photobucket. Unfortunately, all it did was take the image quality down. Probably gonna have to do em again later. If you wanna see what it looks like, you can download it, too. If you play on it, you can even get it in "Motion Vision." Seriously.

    None of the pictures are working...I will wait to queue this map until I can tell what it looks like.

    Make sure to save, and then upload the images to some image host (ex: imageshack, photobucket, etc...). Bungie doesn't allow people to hotlink the images off of their site, so that's why they appear broken.

    Once you get the links working, feedback will come. Don't stress out over it though, we won't hold it against you.

    The map looks pretty good once you straighten it out etc. The first image looks very washed out however...

    The map looks very plain and it looks like it could get boring. What makes this map exciting?

    Eh heh....First image I accidentally shrunk too much. I think I'll redo that one to full quality. The rest I'll do later.

    I never said it was "exciting." I was trying to make a simple symmetrical Slayer map. However, if Bungie releases a patch that allows for exploding midgets on my map, I'll be sure to update it.

    I don't think you got my message in the way it was meant to be.

    What makes this map, a map people will want to keep playing? Is it a map that gets old after 5 min, or will it lasts for days, month, years?

    Well, it depends on the player, really. It doesn't really have any gimmicks, unless you count my sniper nests. That's why I put it up here. I like it, since I made it, but unless other people see it, I won't be able to know what's good or bad about it. Maybe it DOES get old after 5 minutes.

    Kind of open... Put vehicles! I'm sure that they can drive around well here. If you do put vehicles, put them behind the shield doors and get rid of the smaller middle one.

    Not sure where exactly you mean for me to put one. If I put a vehicle by the "bases," I don't think they can pass the door, though I'll check to verify that. And which type of vehicle?

    As far as I know, vehicles can't pass through the shield doors. If you've seen or played Knight_Slayer's Shield Bridge, you'd see that the Mongoose bumps along some horizontal shield doors.

    Good idea, nice layout, but it needs some more scenary. For my maps I always like to look at what will separate it from others and how I can design it so that people will want to play it just more than once. I must say I do like the title however, but I feel as if the map doesn't live up to its hype. Keep it up though!
