I do think that this is the most enjoyable version, but I'm updating it for and MLG version as well. Sorry for the confusion. Name: Shooter Author: breitzen Map Layout: 4 Bases (AA, AB, BA, BB) Map Variations: MLG Settings Game Types: TS, CTF, KotH, Oddball Weapons: 2 snipers, 2 shotguns, 2 assault rifles, 2 plasma rifles, 1 needler, 1 brute shot, 1 pistol, 1 plasma pistol, 4 turrets Equipment: 1 bubble shield (not on Oddball), 1 regenerator, 1 power drain Shooter has four identical bases sitting across from each other with two sniper bases separating the bases that are side by side. Bases BB and BA with a sniper tower separating. The inside of each base is identical expect for spawning weapons (Two bases have assault rifles and two have plasma rifles). Each base has equal access to the snipers (spawns below "the towers") and the shotguns (spawns behind "the towers" in the tunnel). All the bases have turrets and teleports for defense and fast movement around the map; but be careful, the teleports are randomized! The inside of a base. Notice the fusion coils... Outside, the middle of the map has scattered cover and a few weapon/equipment incentives. Don't linger to long though, you'll get torn to shreds by everyone else on the outside! The power drain and bubble shield, two of the things that lie outside the safety of the bases
looks ok but i can see why people said it wasnt up yo mlg standards, it looks like a no mans land map verses mlg maps which are mad to spread the gameplay out, anyway having four turrets isnt the best choice for this map and i also dont see any interlocking 2.5/5
I think its rather cool that each team has a base. It could use some more interlocking and maybe some more cover in the middle as that looks like a complete kill zone if you run across their. Looks fun though.
Looks like a good start, but there are a lot of things thrown in there that really do nothing for the map and don't look too good. As far as I can see, there isn't any interlocking at all, which really brings down the quality of the map. The middle is way too open and really could use some work. The weapon set isn't good at all. You definately need to tone some of the weapons down (for example, only put 1 shotgun or make the respawn rate high and the extra clips sort of low). There are way too many turrets. Also, most people would agree that maps play about 10x better with BRs and are essential to gameplay. Could use a lot of work. 1/5
I really do think this map could have alot more added to it. I don't see any interlocking and it doesn't look like much thought was put into the map. There is very little cover in the middle as well. The idea was a good try but I think you need more experience to be taken seriously.
