I love the idea of this map, I'm surprised it's not being done more often, by the way, don't use trip mines, you can get places you may not want people with mines.
someone has found a new escape route, therefore v6 is coming this weekend. This shows 2 things: I am terrible at forging an unbreakable map. People are incapable of telling me every escape route at one time (seriously, 6 versions?)
This map is hilariously awesome, i had so much fun playing in v2 (of course broke it) and im happy to see a v5 (soon to be v6), curious as to how you had v2 in here, then v5 now...that confuses the hell outa me...thought you couldn't edit the title of threads...anyways i had one thought, and shouldn't this be in casual? it doesn't seem like a serious competitive map to me...the slant just seems to throw off the effect...
Although, I can tell what kind of this is from the pics I cant tell how its exactly set out, could you post some more pics. From what I can see it looks awesome! I mainly like the slanted layout but I really like that the focus weapon of your map is not the shotgun or the sniper. Definate dl, but yeah few more pics would be nice and maybe a few action shots as well.
a little hint on how to make escape-proof.. if you were to interlock your wall (the lower one) it would remove the ledges the are created from stacking and would make it impossible for someone to use it to slide jump out or anything. p.s. this map has many imitators of your style but this is still the best tilt/shift map. if you haven't played your missing out.
people keep saying: interlock your walls! prevent making ledges! my answer: I was going to, but its really...really...really hard to do thanks to the slant. oh and somebody said something about other tilted maps, and i was wondering, could yall tell me the names of the maps via message?
I dled this yesterday and I just played it. this map has a great first impression. But after closer inspection a few areas looked a bit sloppy. Also I found that it had very awkward gameplay. The set out is a Great Idea for a map.
here is an idea to interlock ever so slightly (your gunna love/hate me (itll look better, but have so much work to do)) place a weapon holder on an item already placed, at about the tippity top(flat part on the surface you want to be at that angle). then, set up an object parallel to that, place the weapon holder, then do your save quit technique, that'll put the object at the same position, aswell as interlock it enjoy this may be a confusing explanation, but it is confusing to explain, i hope you get it, as i can't really think of how else to describe it...
respawn time? what do you mean? that is based on the gametype. There is no gametype specific for this map.
