Last week I went to an event called the Student Television Network 2010 Convention in Anaheim California, where High School T.V. Production and Film programs from around America go to compete in a series of timed contests. I went once during my Freshman year, and returned my Junior to compete in the Sweet 16 and 60 Second Staged and Silent film categories. Sweet 16 involved creating a short film in 16 hours, and the 60 Second Film involved making a one minute short in 6 hours. For the latter, I won Honorable Mention, a great honor especially considering how my competition was working with superior equipment and crew.
