Remember that Operation Jupiter map I previewed earlier? Well, I thought that the central platform idea was too good to place in only one map - and Sequence was born. Yes, I am aware that there is another map called Sequence here in ForgeHub, and that it's a FM, but this is only a working title. Without further ado, I present Sequence. Sequence is a symmetrical (or at least as symmetrical as I can make it) map set within Forge World's quarry. Its main feature is a wide launch pad in the middle of the map, flanked by bridges and pathways. There are two bases on opposite sides, and two smaller bases on the other parallel sides of the platform. A staircase near each base leads to the upper skyways, and the upper floors of the main bases. Here's an overview of the work-under-progress map. As you can see, two main bases, obviously controlled by Red Team and Blue Team, face each other on opposite sides of the map. A round staircase to the right of each base heads up to the upper (unfinished) walkways. Under the aforementioned staircase is a room with a Covenant melee weapon (Hammer for the Reds and Sword for the Blues) that is only accessible via a teleporter on the third floor of Red/Blue bases. The top of these stairs is also where each Shotgun spawns. The view from the upper skyways, these walkways are open and exposed - and so are you. If you are not careful, you can easily be sniper's prey up here. It is accessible from the stairway mentioned above. As of now, there are no weapons up here, besides the Shotguns at the top of the stairs. This is the view from the third floor of Blue Base. It's not seen in pictures, but a Rocket Launcher is on the central platform (predictable, no?). If you have a Jetpack, then it's relatively easy to boost up to the skyways, snatch the rocks, and speed away. In the final version, I plan to have a sniper tower and its eponymous weapon on it. Due to limits, this is currently a difficult dilemma. So far, everything's been great, the map's making sufficient progress. Some problems do pop up, but they end up getting fixed in the end. Would you kindly leave your feedback to help improve the map? Your comments and criticism (constructive criticism, I don't want "LOLOL UR MAP SUX LOLOL) will help me make the map as awesome as possible for everyone to enjoy.
