I have been hard at work the past months making a set of maps that I will upload to Forgehub later this month. I'm not exactly inexperienced in forging- I've made casual/minigames before- but this is my first foray into competetive map creation. All of the maps have so far been through some testing, but are not finished The first screenshots are from 'Sentinel', a small asymmetrical map which (currently) supports Slayer, Oddball, 3-plot territories, King of The Hill and Headhunter, with (with the other gametypes still being implemented). This is, so far, the map closest to being completely finished. The next screenshot is from a small symmetrical map (Designed for double team) named 'Tract'. So far, tract will only support slayer gametypes, but (of course), I will try to make it support all of them. The final screenshots are from 'Ringent', a larger but more open map. From testing, Ringent is the most fun map to play of my collection, working well in both FFA and team situations. I am also working on 3 other maps- Deus- a small symmetrical map, Emperor- a BTB map designed specifically for one-sided objective, and a third, as-of-yet unnamed map. All these maps can be found (though unfinished) on my file share, so feel free to download them and test them for yourself. They all have working spawns and support slayer gametypes. The maps are slightly different to the ones shown in the screenshots, but all changes made have been for the benefit of gameplay. All criticism is welcome, no matter how harsh. I do not intend for all of these maps to end up being liked, just to get some experience in the field of competetive map creation so any future maps are of a higher standard. I am fully expecting some very negative comments on some of the maps, but hoping that they'll be helpful. Edit: Uploading more pictures- Tract: Ringent:
Tract looks decent from what I can tell from that one picture, the others are 'meh' in my opinion. Definitely put some more pictures up.
