Self-Portrait [WIP]

Kind of scary with the white eyes... but really nice otherwise.
(p.s that was sarcasm, I know the eyes are white because you haven't finished them)

 

Put those colored pencils away before you become lethal with them!

Learn proportions.

(Hint: The ends of a mouth always match up with the pupils of the eyes. Unless you cut your mouth.)

Judging from the rotating pic of you in your sig, this looks really good so far in my opinion. My favorite part are the sideburns. Those actually looks really realistic. I'll be looking forward to the finished product of this because I've really liked the other ones you have posted so far.

 

The fact that it's poor. Just learn some basic black pencil shading or something. Look up proportions on a human.

Then draw.

 

Also note that hair isn't one flat colour with line variation, hair has a shine to it. I was taught that where hair visibly comes out, is always lighter, and where it goes in, (roots, and waves in the hair, etc) it is darker.

Maybe try to change that a bit.
Looks good so far though.

it looks a little odd, like your head is vertically streched out, and the white eyes make it allthemoreso it looks good otherwise though keep it up!

The hair is done like a pro man. Just work on the shape of the lips some more. Obviously they are less symmetrical than they should be. Also work on the nostrils some more. They should be less like dark holes than they are. Look at some nostrils and pay special attention to the value.

1. I'm Jewish.
2. The angle that the picture was taken at really made it look bigger.
3. I drew it a bit too big still.

Compared to a lot of the Jewish people I know, my nose isn't really that huge. But yes it definitely is in that picture.
