Sandbox Security Ruins

    Hi!

    I had this idea twisting around in my mind for a while. And I finnaly brought it out.
    I made a firefight map which is PVP(Player versus Player)

    MAP NAME: Security Ruins
    Game Variant: Firefight

    PLAYER SETUP
    (Zombie gametype based)

    -12 Players start off as covenant. (No shields)
    -Four Players start as humans. (Normal-Overshields)

    THE GAME:

    The humans have alot of weapons. They got rockets,lasers shotguns and whatever. But their ammo is limited. Only a few weapons respawn.

    The covenant got a plasma rifle and a plasma pistol. They have to storm the little base of the humans and kill them.

    Ofcourse they won't make it with all of this(probaly I don't know how skilled you are)
    So the covenant will get some reinforcements!

    -At 1 minute, the covenant will receive a ghost.
    -At 2 minutes, the covenant will receive a prowler
    -At 3 minutes, a large halo1 spaceship will float over the area. Dropping of 2 wraiths(Just like in the real Firefight!
    The turret of the ship can be used, this will make it the humans really nasty!

    Would the humans survive. The reinforcements will repeat in the same way.

    This map is really awesome with 16 players.

    It only works with the variant Firefight
    This map is really awesome. Just catch 16 man and play around. Works with less too but wouldn't recommend it.

    This looks pretty epic. Great job. The wraith dropping was brilliant.
    Can't wait to play. Looks like a fun casual game.

    There though is one problem.

    If the entire human team runs out of the base (which is quite dumb but still..), the zombies sometime respawn in the human base(This doesn't happen much though)

    Is there any way to fix this? Because in team slayer forge we have these little pins to set an respawn area. But I can't find these pins in Infection. Any solution?

    I did check out the pcitures through the links. From what i can see it isnt very sloppy, has little to no interlocking, and no geomerging ( I think). I dont judge maps on interlocking though it looks like it woud be fun to play though Ill add you and maybe I could help you start working on a V2. Nice though for your first map. I'd love to try it out I sent you a friend request so maybe we coud play today or tommorow.

    It looks easily escapeable. You might want to stack up another layer or two of walls on top of the ones you already have.

    ok i went into forge with this map and i found some things u could imporve... u could put a block flat ni the whole in the ground.... u couldreplace the over shields with custom power ups .... u could also creat starting rooms for the covenant to creat differnt classes... sniper... brute chiftan elites ... differnt classes if u know what i mean and have them drop from teleporters from the ship

    Looks okay from the pics, but can the humans hijack vehicles? I see that the hole in the ground isn't covered up, so I recommend that you do that or at least put something overtop of it.

    Do the covenant spawn from the spaceship? I think it would make sense if they did. Maybe make it so that the wraiths and other vehicles spawn somewhere outside the arena and a grav lift or mancannon will throw them in.

    Yes, already working on a V2. Though I played it with a few friends and it is seriously really fun to play.

    Try placing the pins again. I have this problem sometimes, too.

    And very nice job of executing a Firefight remake! I love the look of this, it seems really cool. But can the humans hijack the Wraiths? Because you can select it so that they can't hijack. That would make it easier for everyone.

    However, the map LOOKS sort of sloppy. Just interlock a bit more, too improve aesthetics. But overall, great job.

    7/10.

    how is that a first person view? no matter, it looks like its really cool and creative, i just wish it was a little smoother and pssibly larger? 4.5/5.0
