Sorry. New to scripting (and late to the party). But I was wondering how people have tackled dynamic teams in custom games. I can't find any way to change a player's team or colours in game and assume the problem is that you can't. I want to script an infection type game where everyone starts 'alive' with ten points but then loses a point every 15 seconds. The aim of the game is to keep your score above zero. If/when you fall below you become 'infected' and now have bonuses to your shields and health (but can no longer score points). Last alive player wins. What I am setting up are 16 forge FX gold sparks objects. Each has it's own label (eg. alpha) and when it detects a player with the same label that has a score below zero it starts to follow that player around. So now my 'infected' have sparks flowing out of their chests. Any other ideas?
Here's a video of the script in action. When I activate the switch it resets the player to unlabelled so that another sparkler can detect and attach itself to the player. https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/darwi/video/118129663
