I'm working on a MOBA style map just for fun as I was on a MOBA kick for about a year then came back to H5. I've been trying to figure out how to script objects to give points to players and use those points to trade and obtain upgraded weapons much like "Night of the Mantis" and "Covenant Assault" but it doesn't seem to be working, whatever I do. I've been looking for tutorials but nothing I've found explains how to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do it or know of a tutorial I could check out? I love the forge in H5 and wish I knew more about the scripting to create more minigames and am hoping to find some help in this.
Unfortunately, the people who have designed such systems have not shared them in tutorial form, that I'm aware of. And, I have not done this yet, so I do not know all the specifics. But, some things you might need... Script brain that changes player numbers to the value of number of items they "possess", whether its a currency or something... A way to deliver the weapon to the player based on the points being over a threshold. Decide on a hovering deliver ysystem or a box that must be opened. Deducint the points the player has just used. @Yumudas Beegbut is probably a good brain to pick on this.. he's really good with numbers and ****.
