Should the outside of your map have scenery to make it look better, or is it just pointless and a waste of items?
make it have a bit of secenery if possible, but always leave placing it until last (so as to avoid budget problems or the maximum item limit) i like it because it adds greater feel to the map and immerses you more, i'm not sure if every one else likes it though. PS NEVER place anything powerful outside unless you are 1000% positive that you cannot escape the map, for obvious reasons.
i would say that a map shouldnt have outside scenery because it is a big waste of items. There is really no point to it because the view is just goin to be blocked off by some sort of wall, but if there is an opening to see it that just leaves a way for people to get out.If u use a fence u wont have enough to cover the entirre area. On the other hand scenery objects do make a map look better but is still a manger waste of money.on maps like last resort u cant add scenary when ur trying to block off because the old maps do not have the same objects as foundry Im sure everyone exept for ferrari will agree with me cuz i was the resaon y he posted this.
Thank you guys...but Tinginho if you have ever played Matty's maps he always puts many objects outside of his maps and I think that it really makes the map seem more realistic than if you do not put objects outside of the map. But thank you for criticizing me about it.
Well, I usually make small tights maps so budget/ item limit isn't a problem. I usually add a lot of scenery if you can see outside. But like the others said, leave it until last.
I like when there is scenery out side of the map because sometimes it distracts the nubs like Tinginho and you can assinate them. lol just kidding Tin
I love when Nubs get distracted and there like " whoa theres a freaking crate over there! How did he do that!" lol Nubs
