Yeah. I'm trying something new here. Since this is the Graphics and ARTS section, I'm gonna post a video here to get some CnC on. This is an older video, made for Xforgery. I wanna see what some others think about it.

I think that with a video like that you could have had the gameplay audio up a little bit. Maybe at something like 10-20% of it's full volume, just so we can hear the shots faintly behind the music, especially to accentuate the explosions.

Obviously it's nothing compared to say Black Box or .exe, but then it's unfair to compare this video to these. Given, also, that these videos show off gameplay and not a map, which does require a very different technique.

At times I did find your video a bit slow, and the moments where the camera doesn't move at all I felt, with the music, a bit off putting. Maybe even just a slow, smooth, pan would have been good.

Your video was good, not spectacular, but I'm sure you knew what you had when you made it.

Video quality isn't amazing, same with audio quality.
Overall it's okay, nothing memorable however.

And there we go, harsh it is. =]

Thank ya. I actually capture without sound because I only have one splitter cable. But I'll experiment next video with sound capture.
I do agree about the non-moving camera. Most of this video was edited and captured real time, so I go in, insert the clip, etc. then go back and find another clip. It gives the sense of knowing exactly what you're looking for in the next part. The more still cameras were filmed later on just to fill the gap between x and y.

And I capture with a Dazzle, so that's about the best quality I can get out of it. I'm hoping for a Hauppauge for my birthday in July.

    Thanks for the CnC.
