    Are they flat now?

If you go on a map with the lasers blocked off, then you can experience the amazing height of some of the dunes outside the map.
Also, there is a campable dune just on the outskirts of Sandbox near the blue base, to the right. It's pretty tall, and very similar to the one on Sandtrap.

Another thing: don't go out of the map in MM. If the lasers take you down, they have a tendancy to kill one of your teammates too.

What really im going out of the map more often then lol
Does it tend to kill players anywhere in the safezone or players hanging on the edge of the safezone?

@EpicFishFingers, no i was just explaining his wording mistake... it's supposed to be "They bulge inwards", not "They have bulge inwards".

It just kills people on your team randomly. Obviously it only shoots at people in the open, but instead of firing lots of laser fire, it only fires one shot. But that one shot seems to never miss.

    New Structure: Kick-Ass Roof

How to make a Kick-Ass Roof

Here's a cool little structure I figured out how to make while working on a map: A Roof with a Cross in it.

    You will need:
    4x Corner, Small
    12x Block, Angled

Here's the building I've put it on top of:

    Here's the completed roof:

I've simplified its construction into Four Steps:

    1. Place the Corner, Small(s) at each corner of the roof like this:

    2. Place Block, Angled(s) up to the edge of the roof like this:

    3. Set the first set of Block, Angled(s) not to spawn at start, start a new round, and place more Block, Angled(s) on the opposite sides of where you placed the first ones. Now, when everything spawns in, it should look like this:
(At this point, if you want a star-shaped hole, you can stop here. If you want to continue, set all of your Block, Angled(s) not to spawn at start.

    4. Now, line up the last of your Block, Angled(s) with the Corner, Small(s) like this:

If you've done everything correctly, when everything spawns in, you'll have your kick-ass roof.

Just in case you wanted to see a little preview of what I'm using this in, here's a pic of my map in progress. Nobody steal my ideas!! Edit: Obviously, I'm just kidding. But some people, like Titmar, seem to have taken me too seriously, and didn't even post a meaningful comment.

Now titmar'll strive to make a map that steals your idea, just to be an arse.

Get out of the skybubble and fly up to one of the towers. Underneath the light on one of them is a splatter symbol, although it's random which tower it appears on.

Not sure if this has been posted yet... But I thought it would be helpful.

Here is the approximate size difference between the Crypt and Foundry:

The red area is the crypt floor.

If you guys want some measurements I can include those as well.

Also, I think this thread should be stickied!

Just to be clear, this means it's safe to delete the default scenery objects from the canvases, right?

Yes, absolutely. Remove all the default scenery and vehicles and you'll be fine. You can also free up a lot more budget but lowering the runtime max on the existing weapons and equipment (I think the only ones that aren't raised are the portable grav lift and the OS).

Are you sure? How did you figure this out? I heard Bungie say that the Crypt is the exact same size as the Grifball court on Foundry.

Bungie only said it was made with Grifball in mind, Burnie from Rooster Teeth mistakenly said it was the exact same size in the introduction video and realized his mistake right after it was released

the Crypt is 1.7 times the size of Foundry, you can tell by measuring the area with Spawn Markers

I figured this out by using assault bomb spawn points and measuring the distances between points using the meters. I'm about 98% sure its correct.

I know this is a bump, and it is purposeful.

We should sticky this, it is very useful.

in the "Things to Watch out for" department ...

has anyone else been having problems with missing inventory items on Sandbox?

on one of my maps there are 11 starting spawns missing (8 from Infection, 2 from VIP and 1 from Territories

it's not just that they are missing from the inventory, it's that they are on the map and active, yet invisible in Forge - normally this would not be too big of a problem but i can't get VIP/Rocket Race variants to work due to the extra Attacker and Defender starting spawns - i know where the spawns are, i just can't see or delete them

the map was built in the Crypt from the default map and yes, i have searched outside of the boundaries and under each map and re-building the map from scratch is not an option

Not sure if its worthy of an "amazing structure" title but as far as I know, I'm the first to make this.

It's a slanted wall that gives the roof a change in height and adds an aesthetic hallway
