After reviewing the Forge Palette for Sandbox I've noticed how it lacks some of the items used in many puzzles on Foundry such as dumpsters or road blocks even, but with such a sophisticated variety of immovable objects do you think puzzles will be one of the possibilities for Sandbox's forging future? Or mabie just an even more elaborate Lost Chamber to go along with the classic Peasant Hunt?
It has movable blocks however, that replace dumpsters. I feel there is still a future for puzzle maps, especially with the new killballs. T-10 until Budha's next puzzle map...
Yes, we all anticipate that to come out. I still see a future for puzzle maps, I just don't think that they'll be as long as some of the ones on foundry, due to the lack of movable objects on the pallet. Most of the maps will use hidden teleporters for room transitions, and I see the crypt being used for a lot of the puzzle maps due to it's more confined space..
well, i think this is one of the times where foundry comes in handy! But of course sandbox will still come in handy, I''m sure tons of clever things will be done with the golf balls, the few movable objects, etc.
There will be puzzles I have personaly played two puzzle maps so far one set is called "Lethal Tests"(gametype) on "Human Subjects"(map) by Element Nineteen. And "Saw Extremity" made by gamer720. I am almost finished with a puzzle map of my own and there are more little tricks with the new objects to discover than one would think. I'm not giving specifics since the point of a puzzle would be to figure them out on your own if your not motivated enough to figure them out though or are looking for ideas pm me.
