Apparently it's supposed to be in effect on Foundry too, considering the OLN is used across every map.
Yes, this is true on Foundry and every other map. You just never noticed it on Foundry because you were more likely to run into the budget first unless you were using a budget glitched map.
A question for those who have it early. Can you move the teleporters that link the middle with the Skybubble?
Another question Devinish, what is the biggest immovable object on each map. Sandbox, Orbital, and Assembly. And did anyone break out of any of the maps yet?
I actually didn't do much forging, to be honest. I only really messed with the objects that were on the map, to make the canvas, and a few others. But from what I saw on sandbox, the double box sized items seemed to be the largest. Like I said though, these may not be the largest objects, only what I saw.
Has the Halo wars come out in some part of the world, because there seems to a few people playing the maps, someone on my friends list has them, and i looked at his recent games and there was like 9 people playing in it, i dont understand. So i asked him how hw got them and he just said "im legit" ???
Bungie handed out some codes to select people, and some websites have been given a few codes and handed those out. Anyone else that is playing it is either a tester for Bungie or something like that.
NeoGAF - View Single Post - The Official Halo 3 Thread Cocopjojo, from Ascendant Justice made a post over at NeoGAF giving us a idea of the size of the skybubble.
I've been tinkering on Sandbox, and I've been having some odd issues with objects appearing when they shouldn't be, and having selection issues as well. I've also come across odd object movement once a new round or game has been started. We might have to get used to some new odd bugs here and there... I'll investigate further.
So for anybody that doesn't want to look at the post that Merguson linked, I'll lay it all down for you. The distance from one end to the other in the Sky Bubble is 38.4 more meters then the distance from one end to the other on Avalanche. That is very large, like in the picture when he was scoped out with his Battle Rifle looking at the other territory, you couldn't even see it. All you could see was the number of the territory, that it was so far. By the way, if this guy has Sandbox. Then why doesn't he just do the same thing by sticking a territory up at the max height and looking at it through the Battle Rifle scope from the bottom? This way we would know how large the Sky Bubble really is, not just the length of it. I want to be able to remake Midship correctly, but I will be unable to do so if the height of the Sky Bubble isn't high enough. EDIT: What the hell!? Who else got Sandbox, and what did they get it for!?
Is the skybubble bigger or smaller than the floor of Sandbox? And that's a really good measurement idea.
Watch This and skip to about 1:40. He is still in the Middle Section and can go all the way out to the Towers of Doom or whatever you want to call them. I assume that it will be as large as the Sky Bubble. Don't watch it if you don't want the Skull Locations to be spoiled! EDIT: Hehe, I just found out why the Sky Bubble was called the Sky Bubble and not the Sky Box! Cuz it's in the shape of a Bubble! Hehe!
The Sandbox download link is here, but if you try downloading it, it wont go to your maps bungie is just letting us know it exists.
sixthsubset posted this at NeoGAF he didn't post the numbers, nor show the height, but it demonstrates that the crypt is larger than the main floor of Foundry
In insane's live feed they were forcing on Sandbox and man that looks purely awesome. I cannot wait until these maps come out.
