yes, Urk said that the Budget was $1500. It was a definitive answer, and didn't really give nothign away so it is most likely valid. Plus, why lie on something like that?
It makes sense, they did say that you will run into the OLN before you run out of budget for sandbox. So that high of a budget isn't exactly all that far-fetched.
Again guys, keep in mind that the prices for stuff on Sandbox are higher. So it's the equivalent of say, a $1200-1300 budget on Foundry. Still awesome, just don't get a false impression of the number of objects 1500 gets you.
If you're estimating around that, that's about 70 percent more objects than you could originally place on foundry. You'd hit the OLN before you got that many objects on foundry im pretty sure. So really, budget isn't that big of a deal. Its the OLN that will be a thorn in our sides, if anything.

Well, did anyone know it was a perfect size for grifball, thats all i was saying. I knew about the room when the news was first released. And i see that no one posted the videos right? Also, sorry i'm not a huge Halo 3 fan anymore, so i don't know these things as fast as you people that play halo every hour of every day. also, **** you /notsarcasm

For those that will be awaiting the OLN Canvas, is it ok if I put the weapons and grenades in one of the corners of the flat central part of the map? So they don't roll around.

After reading the update a few days ago, I decided to update my opinion in the thread. I take it all back. Sandbox looks amazing. I've even got gameplay video on my laptop (from Gamespot). I ****ing love the look of the sky bubble.
Since there hasn't been a whole lot of new revelations about the map (with the exception of urk telling us what the budget is) its mostly been discussing what we're planning to do on the map, and how feasible it is. Push the limit and all that.
You'll probably work this out later anyway but you do realise that you could just great a big pile in a corner of the sky bubble, then put the weapons and grenades on that, don't you?
Wasnt the Crypt or basement of sandbox made especially for grif ball I will probably use the top part but i can not wait! But can u use the golf club I hope so!
