They might have use damnation as an inspiration for orbital tho; it does share some of the same characteristics as damnation.
The only similarities that I see is the curved hallway, and the basic shape. From the other screenshots of actual gameplay, it looks totally different.
Don't forget guys. Bungie will most likely come out with a Video Documentary for the Mythic Map pack, seeing as they did before for previous map packs. Now we have to anticipate Heretic, Longshore, and Citadel after Mythic.. Damn you anticipation. =)
I'm not all THAT excited about the map pack following mythic. from what i understand, for the most part, they are just remakes. plus, I'm gonna miss the DLC after it and it just means that halo will most likely die down in popularity after ODST and the last map pack comes out... I really don't want halo to become old lol. It really is my favorite game, and after this bungie seems to be done with the whole thing. *sad face*
Relic isn't in mythic buddy. I think that long shore might also have large open spaces above that would be great for an escarpment remake. Imagine if you could forge over that deep water from relic. It would be perfect for oddball maps because the ball would respawn after falling.
Heretic... not relic. Nowhere did anything say anything about remakes either... except its Rumored that Heretic may be Midship, but its hearsay.
So you missed the recent update about the underground cavern? They said it's about 3/4 the size of Sandbox and you take a teleporter on the other side of Sandbox to get down there. It's about 5 boxes high. Two bad you can't get down there in game without a teleporter. And no stupid cranes or anything, it's just a box! edit-Wow his post got deleted. Does anyone have any idea where the "switches" that Bungie talked about in previous Mythic previews will be?
i know except long shore might share many similarities such as water witch is almost guarantied. I remember on the MLGpro forums some guy said he was a mythic map pack tester and he said that heretic was indeed a midship remake. he got the **** flamed out of him though. And relating to my previous comment. If longshor didn't have the same water effect as on relic wouldn't it be cool if it was an island with water stretching out as far as on Last resort except it was 360 degrees and forge able.

i checked because i wasn't sure if he was trying to fool the guy or if he was being serious lol. I got here in the middle of a conversation of how high something was in box lengths that i assumed was the sky bubble. When he said that, i thought "no" but i went to bungie to be 100 percent sure lol. btw you know where liers go, don't you? lol.
