Saget's Guide to making your map post not die out

Don't you all hate it when your map goes out of the front page and no one else ever posts on it. Well I thought of a guide that would help you guys make your map thread alive for along time. I hope this helps:

First: Your actually map thread​

You want people to make your post as fun and catchy thread. Don't make it all colory, because people start to stop reading and don't care about it and just skip to the buttom. you want to have a great map description that also catches people's eyes. You want them to say in their mind "WOW". Here is a thread that is telling you what you should say in your thread.​

Second: Graphics in your post​

In your thread you want sub headings that say what you are talking about. Here is a great thread that catches people's eyes.​

Third: Pics​

Your pics that you use are pics that show the best part of your map. You should have pics of the map itself and pics that show a LOT of action. Pics is another thing that cathes people's eyes, have pics that are very, very epic.​

Fourth: Map testing and reviews​

Have you noticed the maps that stay alive for a long time are maps that people say "Yes, its finally released." If tells other people that the map is good and it works good, because other people think its good. You want your map to be very popular, so you can get people saying its released and how much fun it is. Make reviews of the stages of your maps and people can say what they like and more and more people have looked at your thread. ​

Fifth: Letting people know your map is out​

I recommened Pming everyone that helped, tested, and gave a review that your map is released. It will give your map more posts and keep it alive.​

Finally: When to post on your map/ sig​

When people say that the map is good and what not and then say the rating of the map, is when you don't post. Expectially, when its on the front page because people will start to think you just want to keep a conversation with this guy and no one will want to budge into your conversation. I recommened posting when people ask a question about the map, then you post to answer the question. When it gets out of the front page, wait for someone to post then awhile later post again to bring it to the halo forge maps and hopefully will get some more posts. ​

Sig: after you post more map make a link in your sig to your map, and say something good about it like, 100 dls, cuz that always gets people to look at it.​

oh yes that is what I meant, but I think more people like to have more bold and dark colors then bright and colory words.
