Map I began sketching out and laying the foundation for last night. Its stylized off of the pyramid in AvP (terrible movie, awesome setting). I had made a version of this in Halo 3 but was pretty bland looking so now I can fancy it up. Central area is the sacrificial chamber (3). Bordered with relic room on one side and main hall (1) on other. Red and Blue spawns on opposing hallways. Sacrifice pit (4) below chamber leads to back ends of team spawns, relic room (2), or main hall. Sword is located bottom center. Incineration cannon and camo are on opposite sides of each other. Will script doors and passageways to open with button on either side so camo and incineration cannon take turns being locked up. Central sacrifice room will also go under lockdown so pathways will change in game. Not sure what other weapons to include yet. Those are just the focus of the map so far. Should be done with foundation tonight/tommorrow and begin laying out cover and details. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any ideas I could add.
Could be good, but I'd have to see in-game video/pictures first. Also might fall into the "Too much hallway, not enough dance floor" trap from the sketch there.
Yeah I am kind of worried about how narrow the rooms are. I don't want to go too big because I want to save room for details. I could probably enlarge the spawn rooms.
