RPG-style maps on your mind?

    Hey! Has anyone started or finished any RPG-type maps and gametypes? Like the good old days in Farcry Instincts where someone would run the 'store' and rocks were the currency :D. New players would have objectives that needed to be completed either by having the host (Dungeon Master) watch or simply retrieve an item hidden on the map. They would then get an allowance to pick items for their 'home', that the DM would add to the next version of the map (or in this case the player could do it themselves).

    Like an alternate form of Cops + Robbers I think. I would like to see your map and/or help with developing a working simcity/adventure-like gathering.

    thinking of cops and robbers in Counter Strike Source, you could spawn elites as cops (just a few of them, given snipers/pistols with a damage increase)

    and spartans as the robbers
    (a lot of them, but make them melee only by reducing their weapon damage to 0).
    To give the robbers a shot, there may be a few custom powerups that grant them weapon damage unnoticeably.

    Then a prison with activities can be made and there's a cops and robbers game..

    Back when we used to have VIP I had a gametype (halo 3) called Witness Protection. It was a one-way VIP game time with the cops protecting the witness from the various assassins (Ninjas, Mafia, whatever,...) who wished to kill the VIP.

    Now I was just wondering if any of you guys knew I way that I might be able to resurrect this idea in halo REACH.

    I figured I would ask sense we were talking about Cops and Robbers and other RPG gametypes. :)

    I haven't really looking into VIP but a single-team VIP sounds simple enough. I have played a similar match using standard slayer and player honor-system.
