After that i just added on other clips (Second song +). Some of the no-scopes scared even me. And there is only 3 overkills, if you whine about getting more i would like to see some of you do better--In a friendly way. If you can watch it in higher quality since its 100% better. Feedback and ratings would be nice. Im trying to improve my editing, and i believe im getting better. If you can spot any players from here please say so and you get a cookie! :happy:
Editing was pretty good, but I thought there were quite a few situations where most other decent players could of pulled off what you did pretty easily. Some of the sticks were nasty however...
Lets be honest, here. Out of ALL those clips only 5 were borderline montage worthy, the rest, just shouldn't of even been there. The 2 songs are both WAY over used for montages, and if its one thing I hate more about watching montages a lot, (which I do) are people who tend to use the same songs, that like many others before them used. Now i understand you problay worked hard on this tage, and hate to see someone not like it. But lets face it here, compared to todays standards of montages as seen on the widely known halo montage youtube accounts airguitar901, and FBWalshyFTW, your tage isnt quite up to par of what most if not atleast 96% of the "halo montage community" belive should be in a tage. Editing was ok, but since your still working on getting better i understand. And last but not least. Its all about the multikills yo!
Everything but the bold is true. Dragging a video effect over a clip isn't good editing. Especially when you use it on every mediocre clip
@Ivory - Thanks, and yes i noticed that alot too. @Mace - I transfered all my clips from my desktop to my laptop on a flash drive before i defraged it. My desktop has a virus from limewire atm. @Penquinish - I understand what you mean, alot of my stuff is bad compared to the stuff you see on Machinima or FBwalshyFTW etc. I have only seen one other montage with the first song, but thats most likely because i dont watch montages alot anymore. Im trying to improve my editing since i'm used to making videos that dont involve transitions alot or all those FX's. I guess i went over my head with afew of them. @ZgreenZ - Read above.
most of those were sick,the rest were even better. wow,are you a general or something? I certily wish I had your skill. I loved the montage and the editing was pretty good. keep this up and youll be the one of the montage makers ever.
Ummm i could not watch the whole thing yes it might be good but the random effects added take away from the fact that its a montage because you cant actually see what you did during the time the effect was going
@halo kid - I'm only a colonel, but thanks. @stealth - I understand that, but I never put a transition ( flash ) over a good clip or whenever I need one.
