I am personally an owner of Rockband and love the drums. Although both are great games, my support goes to Rockband. How about you guys?
Re: Rockband or Gutair Hero III? I'm going to have to go with Guitar Hero 3. I've played both and the guitar feels more responsive (even wirelessly) than the Rock Band one. It's also just pure pwnage.
If you have friends = Rock Band If you have no friends (or maybe just one person that feels sorry for you) = GH3 ------- In general = Rock Band. Better Songs...(To me at least, Killers, Ok Go, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters are all so much win.) More Variety...(Not Guitar EVERYTIME.) Make it more challenging...(Sing and Guitar all at once.) Better Practice mode...(More Speeds, Options.) Just...Better.
Rock Band for better songs, and fun with friends. Guitar Hero 3 for if you want an insanely hard challenge. Guitar Hero 2 FTW. Has both great song choices and difficulty. And it is cheap.
I personally have found more songs i like on rockband, but i own both, and play both so yeah i guess for me its just the mood i'm in. But my vote goes to rockband.
i like them both but i must say that rock band has a ton of really really gay songs in it.... GH3 is way more metal.
Neither, play a real guitar. In the time it takes to master either of those games, you could learn how to play for real.
I think that Guitar Hero can't even compare to Rock Band. Rock Band is so much better in every category. Guitar Hero has about 20-ish good songs, and thats it. Rock Band has better graphics, setlist, gameplay, etc. There is only one bad thing about Rock Band, and it's the notes. Those box notes look horrendous and make playing fast solos on the guitar so difficult. But I still think that Rock Band is better. :squirrel_rocking:<--- I hate those smileys...
I'd have to say Guitar Hero III even though i haven't played RockBand. Though I really do suck at Guitar Hero III, it's still fun
Well I think the word you are looking for here instead of graphics would be the art style, sorry nit picking. But I too like the style for Rock Band better than GH3.
Everyone should take into account that Guitar Hero and Rockband are made by the same people, Harmonix.
No, Harmonix did not make Guitar Hero III. They made Guitar Hero I, II, and Rock Band. Harmonix split off to do their own thing after Guitar Hero II.
Well, you could say that, but I honestly like Rock Band's graphics better. Guitar Hero's graphics are too sharp, and all of the band members look old and fake. Rock Band is smoother and the members actually look real. I used to love Izzy Sparks from Guitar Hero II, but I absolutely despise him now. He has the weirdest outfits and what they did to his face and hair makes him look like an old grandma that seriously needs Botox...
Oh thats right, my brain must not be functioning. I remember now a friend told me that. I guess what I meant to say probably was considering that Harmonix made GH I, GH II, and Rockband, does GH III seem similar at all to what Harmonix did with the previous Guitar Hero series'? Maybe thats what my brain intended to ask, who knows.
