RK Central There aren't very many KoTH maps out there, so I decided to make a simple one. Here's the catch: I did almost no interlocking throughout the map. In fact, the map was made more than six months ago, when sandbox first came out, and before I knew how to merge. I just edited a few things, and then posted it. Here's a couple of overviews. The map is very basic, and is meant for 4-team KoTH, which is why it is 4-way symmetrical. As you can see, there are 4 floating bases, a middle section, another floating middle area, and a pathway around the map. In this screenshot, you can see inside one of the bases. All of the bases are the same, in every way. This is how it works. First, you grab your grenades and weapons. Each base has 1 AR, 1 BR, 1 SMG, and 1 Magnum. After you grab your weapons, you can either go through a teleporter, which sends you right into the hill, or drop out of the base, where you can walk towards the hill, or head to the outside of the map. This is the view you get after you drop from the bases. From here, you can walk into the hill, or turn around and go grab some other weapons. These are the outer areas of the map, each containing a shotgun and a grav-lift. While a shotgun may seem powerful, which it is, it is also placed far away from the hill, which means that if you choose to get one, you waste valuable time. The grav-lift is used to get top of the middle territory. Don't worry though, you can't camp up there. The hill doesn't extend that high. This is the bottem level of the hill. Each teleporter in each base sends you directly into this area. There is also a grav lift which sends you into the top area of the hill. This is the top area of the hill. The custom powerup spawns at 180, and has some strange traits. With the custom powerup, you give out less damage, but can take more. In fact, the powerup is designed to make you only slightly more powerful than your opponent. Thanks for taking a look at the map. Here are the downloads. This looks pretty nice, Interlocking or not. Although i think you would get owned walking around the outside,although this is made for 4 teams so that might help that a bit. The ascetics of the middle building are great, even the small details on the corners. I like the idea of the Custom power up, it kinda turns you into a tank for the hill. Overall i give it a 3.5/5.
Rails on the outskirts would make the map more appealing, and help with some deaths... I see you have been posting very recently.. niiice

Strengths: -The flow on this map would be nice in my opinion because of the several different paths to the middle structure. -The middle structure is unique and very aesthetically pleasing. It basically completes the entire map by giving it character. Weaknesses: -Where's the interlocking? It would help with the bumps and make it more appealing to the eye. -Definitely make a border around the outskirts of the map because it looks so awesome and more advanced and reduces unnecessary deaths. Aesthetics: 3.5/5 Gameplay: 3.75/5 Balance: 4/5 Flow: 4.5/5 Design: 3.5/5 Execution: 3.5/5 Overall: 3.8/5 It definitely could be improved by interlocking but good map overall.
I do agree with the comments posted, except for the interlocking part. What it there to interlock to make the map any better? Here are a couple of things one has to realize: The original map was made before I knew how to interlock, and I didn't use an OLN canvas with the map, so I'm at my object limit. I do appreciate the comments, but please test the map for bumps before you call it bumpy.
