Hi guys...so this map gave me the ****s for sooooooo long...i posted a poll in discussion about forging a CTF map where taking the flag from, and delivering to, were two different points...however this didnt seem to be completely possible. at least not to my knowledge...if anyone out there can sort out my problem i would be eternally grateful! so now instead of both teams collecting the flag from level 1, and capturing at level 2. Blue team does the opposite, while red team does what i originally wanted! sooooo. Red Teams flag spawns back of their base at level 2...therefore red team travels down to level 1 to take blue teams flag....then they have to take it back to level 2 to capture it! ....Blue team is the OPPOSITE! they take the red flag from level 2. and capture on level 1 underneath blue base. this isnt what i wanted, but i couldnt get it my way...so now you guys that try the map will have to decided who has the easier route, blue or red team? So... Spawns: Teams spawn top level (level 2) for both CTF and slayer. Respawns: Weighed half and half on level 1 and 2. Weapons on map: Sniper (1 for each team) - Located on level 2 on a platform on the very left side of the map. (spawns every 90 seconds from start). Rockets - Located middle of the map on level 1. (spawns every 120 seconds from start). DMR - Top of base, level 2. BR - Front left pillar in front of base on level 2. Plasma Pistol - Bottom right Corridor of level 1. Grenades (applies to both teams) - Frags = 2 x Front right pillar in front of base on level 2. - Sticky = 2 x Top level of tower, middle right of map. - Pulse = 2 x Inside bases on level 2. i hope you enjoy my map guys and girls...feedback for everything and anything will be most appreciated...should be posting another new map next week...keep an eye out for that. but for now...enjoy Risen. cheers tMULKS
I like the layout, but maybe some railing or cover would go nicely along the walways. Also, try to add some more color. With those two things, the map would also be more aesthetically apealing.
cheers for the feedback man ill see what i can do to spice up the colour....railing/cover on level 2 walkways aye, ill have to play around with that and see what fits nicely and also is smooth for gameplay...thanks again for the feedback
