A great guy and a stellar forger. We lost a dear friend and a talented map maker. I will post information for any sort of charity in his honor when I receive it.
Rest in peace Lights. While I didn't really know you as a person, I do know your work was sick. You'll be missed.
I didn't know him super well, but I understand he gave cancer a hell of a fight for three years. That's the second founding HaloCustoms staffer we've lost now. For anyone who isn't familiar with Lights's work, or just wants to appreciate it, Carbon was the map I knew from him.
Helvetica was probably my favorite map of his. I got to know him when I was still on GoO and although we had our disagreements at times, he was always very respectable. RIP.
it's weird once you realize that even people on the internet aren't invincible. Lights has been a fixture in the forge community as long as i can remember, his impact and hard work as staff on this site and others helped shape what these places mean to all of us. a lot of us practically grew up here. RIP Lights
I can't say I knew him all too well but the time's I've talked to him, he was pretty cool. RIP. **** cancer.
Haven't forged or played with him even in years but rest in peace. People die, it's a part of life. It's cool that he's left some stuff to remember him by. In that, he still lives on.
It's insane when you hear about things like this, breaks my heart when someone this young dies. He was an awesome H3 forger, and as far as I remember a great guy. I'm sure if I dig through my posts I'll find some good convos with him. Rest in peace man. God bless.
I wasn't very close with Lightsout but I remember his talent with maps and how nice of a person he was. He's given people thousands of hours of joy and happiness with his maps, and he really will live through that. Rest in peace
RIP, brother. I remember when Sandbox first came out he and a few other lads had a stellar little map to surprise our front page with.
Holy crap man, I remember this guy from the Halo 3 days, especially with customs. **** cancer man. "There'll be Another Time...". Until that time comes, RIP.
