Hey guys, I've spent about a month (from start, break, finish), and I finally think it's complete. The map is called Revert, and I'll be entering it in the Podtacular Season contest. The map, obviously, is built in forge. Although not a direct remake, it has spirit from multiple maps in the past. Revert was built from a competitive standpoint, so I wanted to make areas of the map easy to call out, such as "the ramp" or "our bridge" and so forth. NEW: The map has three (!) different variants, the default, the hardcore, and the MLG. The hardcore - This build was made for those who want the default settings, but slightly tweaked with some MLG settings. The MLG - The MLG build is altered to support MLG game sets. Hardcore Variant Looks may be deceiving, as the map plays pretty well in a 4v4 setting. The irregular weapons (sentinel beam, fuel rod gun, plasma cannon, firebombs) were made to flow with the map design, while adding a twist to the gameplay. Just try them out, you will see for yourself. MLG Revert As I stated earlier, a new MLG variant of the map has been added. Here is a list of changes from the standard build to this build. Weapons and Equipment replaced with MLG based weapon set. (overall) Sentinel Beam replaced with Plasma Pistol Flare replaced with Mauler, base maulers replaced with Frags Fuel Rod Gun replaced with Sniper Rifle, 120 Respawn, 1 Spare Clip Additional Crates added for ease of access into the Carbine tower Shield Door removed Plasma Cannon removed Teleporter Boundaries removed This map variant, however, has not been tested and is liable to change.
