Respawn Zones, and Doubles maps.

    Personally, I'm not a big fan of respawn zones. They do tend to work quite well though on symmetrical team slayer and larger maps, with more deaths and more people to respawn you want control. But I'm not so sure about this with doubles maps. I make a lot of doubles maps, and usually just test them with my friends. So far, not using respawn zones, I haven't had any spawn issues. I feel I may be just lucky though.

    I checked into Bungie's maps to see, and really they only doubles maps I see with respawn zones are Narrows (the original), and The Pit. Other maps like Foundry and Snowbound are also doubles maps and work decently well as. The original Narrows however was quite an easy map to spawn trap a team.

    So my issue is: Should I use Respawn zones in a mostly symmetrical doubles map, thats sorta shaped like a T?

    you should use rewpawn zones on any small 2v2 map, message thesilencebroken, he has a knowledge of respawn zones ive never seen before, and they really are usefull.

    Always use them, unless the map geometry doesn't allow for it, then always use them.
    unless you're map is the size of the maps in the 1v1 tourney, but even then its still a good idea.

    The one thing I don't quite get about them is: If i set one to attackers, and one to Defenders, and leave my points neutral...will only the attackers ever spawn on the attackers side, and defenders on defenders? What about areas that are kinda neutral? Like can't be divided? No respawn zone? Or neutral zone?
