People told me yesterday to put down the starting points. I did that and this is a infection game so i set Attackers=Zombies at one starting point and Defenders=Normal players at a different starting point. Whats wrong is the alpha zombie or zombie i dont get what the difference is, are spawning in the wrong place. They keep starting at the mid-level when the starting point is on the top level. Here are my questions. 1) What is the difference between Alpha Zombies and Zombies and Base Players. 2) Why does the alpha zombie/zombie keep spawning at mid-level and not where i put the starting point. Please help if you can.
Alpha zombie will spawn on the starting point you set to as attackers in the beginning of the game or of each new round. As other zombies get infected they don't take the starting spawn point as where they will spawn; they will spawn where ever is safe on a respawn point. If you'd like to have your zombies keep spawning in a certain area regardless if they are alpha or just a zombie then place spawn points where you want them to spawn then switch all of those spawn points and start spawns to attackers. Just make sure you have all of the other respawn points besides the zombies spawn's to defenders so the zombies don't spawn in the humans area. Think of it likes this Attackers = Zombies only (Alpha and Normal) Neutral = Anyone can spawn there human or zombie Defenders = Humans only Start spawns = Only spawn there when the game starts or after each new round Respawn point = Spawn there after each time you die. So if you have 5 Attackers respawn points for the zombies and 5 neutral respawn points on the map the zombies will be able to spawn on the 5 neutral which might be in where you want the humans to spawn. To avoid this switch the neutrals to defenders and then the zombies should spawn where you want and the humans where you want and they shouldn't switch.
Everything that Adelyss said is correct. One point I might add is, I know you said you put down one starting point for zombies and one starting point for humans. You probably need more than one spawn point. Just put down a bunch of starting and resapwn points. Make sure you label them all correctly. Just having one is probably not enough.
Dream not true if you only have one starting spawn point then the other players will find the closest respawn point to spawn on, but if you have your start spawns away from your group of respawn points then i would suggest having more start spawns.
Very true, only one starting point is required for each team. Free for all requires no starting points at all. So any respawn points work as start points as long as they are close to a start point.
