Anybody know any more info on this? This info came out in early October and still I haven't heard anything new.

"buTube (<-- not really called this)
Chris can't spill the beans, but that doesn't mean other people can't as well! Roger Wolfson, Online Team extraordinaire and certified mathemagician has another really awesome feature that that film clip fans have been requesting for some time. From the Wolf's mouth:

Hello again, Roger here with an update on the Bungie Pro subscription service we inaugurated a year ago. To recap, Bungie Pro allows subscribers expand their Halo 3 File Share from 6 slots and 25MB of storage to 24 slots and 250MB of storage, to the tune of 750 Spacebucks for the year, which is around 78 cents per month. Halo 3 file sharing has been tremendously popular, with over 53 million pieces of content shared online in the first year alone! That year is up for the first subscribers, which makes this a great time to announce a soon-to-arrive feature that we're going to add to Bungie Pro.

And that new feature is? Render-to-video! At long last, you won't need to have a video capture card to free your saved film from the confines of your Xbox. Integrated right into the Bungie.net file-sharing experience alongside current features like "Copy to My File Share" and "Download to Halo 3" will be "Render to Video" where your short Saved Films or Film Clips (length and quantity to be determined) can come to life as a computer-playable WMV file which can be downloaded to your computer, or seen on Bungie.net alongside other game content like your Screenshots.

We're still finalizing quite a few implementation details and trying to determine at what temperature a server melts into a pool of slag that will drip through the datacenter floor. So stay tuned over the next few weeks as we get those last details sorted out. In the mean time, enjoy the Title Update, and keep that great content on your file shares."

Personally I think its the best thing Bungie has done in a while. It is definately going to make some more gamers come back to Halo. Its basically what everyone wanted since Halo 2, now its finally going to happen.

That's all? Jeez why do they tell us this stuff so long before it comes out. It's like I'm walking out bungie's front door saying "yep, I think I'm going to go play gears 2 and farcry2 and all those other good games because halo has been out and nothing has happened for a long time" when they shout " WAIT WAIT! We um, we are, um, doing some work on video capturing" and i turn around and say "o rly" and they're like "yah" and i'm like okay I can wait a few more weeks and sit back down in the chair and then they go back behind the curtain with all the other bungie employees and say "hey okay, guess what?" "what" "we're gonna start working with a video rendering system" and they hold thumbs up and smile and start shaking their heads while everybody groans and is like "when do we start?" and someone says "we have to make him wait as long as possible, so you know, it will take forever for our game to die" and someone else says "genius!" and i'm sitting on the other side of the curtain thinking about how cool this video renderer will be and how that map pack that I heard about 3 months ago will come out in another 3 months and back behind the curtain they are all drinking coffee and nodding their heads saying "so jones, how is that render coming" "haven't even started" "lol" "rofl" "we are so smart" and then they cling their glasses together and one says "should we start it yet" "nah" "lol" "rofl" and they are laughing so hard one spills coffee and burns himself so he has to go to the emergency room and the whole way there is laughing while other employees are trying to figure out what company they work for while other employees are trying to figure out what a computer is while other employees are trying to figure out who they are and someone says "is that a donut" and someone else says "i think that's a um, disk" "what's that picture on it" "idk" "says H A L O" "what's that" "beats me"

Yes, I got confused and gave you the wrong information yesterday. CoolIris is just a program that hosts your videos you downloaded and holds them onto your desktop.
