Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Teacher on Classroom. I have a "string" attached to my sword. The blackboard/Chalkboard flies out of the wall and splatters an elite student.
They're putting our expectations down low to make sure we don't get our hopes up. They say it COULD be as low as 1 or 2 minutes per month, but for all we know the rendering capabilities are better than expected, or people could render responsibly. If it were something like 5 min. per month, that'd be great.
Sad face.. if I had one more point I could have added another two minutes to the video with a vision of being a defender. This sucks. By the way, it's my first YouTube video ever. I used the Render-to-Video Beta to make it.
Karma fail. This is pretty embarassing. I was being an ass the whole game, and shooting my teammates once to get their shields down before the other team killed them, and then I booted a guy who got back at me. The game lags, that brings the crosshairs up, aswell as my GT. Then, I shoot a guy, and get a crate-splatter-suicide. When I spawn, I get a splatter kill after shooting a teammate, again! Linky: Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Youtube's uploader's being a barch and not letting me upload, even though I compressed the .wmv to 7 MB or something like that.
The whole "Bungie Point" thing to me is seriously pretty gay. Once again, Bungie takes something great and adds something to it to completely ruin it. The HD video does look great though.
That's probably going to be an even bigger ripoff than you think. I bet the video will still be stretched, even in HD.
I've a few Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details (posted in other thread but may as well put it here...also later learned it was in the mhl6 montage[: ) Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details (won the last game so decided to screw with them this round[custom game]) Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details (ninjad warthog gunner)
Meh, I don't know about the cost with this new system. I think buying a capture card may save you money, especially since you get editing software and don't require a film clip. Capture cards can also be used on multiple different systems and games,so the diversity can also be more appealing. I think this may not be what it's all cracked up to be, but a good advancement nonetheless.
Please, this thread is specifically only for the videos from the new feature. All comments/discussion pertaining/complaining about the featue should go: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-discussion/71025-how-much-does-video-render-cost.html or http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-discussion/70738-render-video-bungie-pro.html Thank you.
Want to know why Bungie is limiting it so much. Bandwidth. Want to to know something crazy? Bungie offers a download feature, if the average 30mb large and there have been 1,000,000 downloads, thats 28 terabytes of data that Bungie hosts. Servers are expensive.
First link works, but it's for a thread created an hour ago so you can't blame us for discussing it here, especially since most of us posted yesterday and you posted this in Halo Discussion. Second link leads to nothing. It seems as though you would like this to be for vids only, so I will accommodate you and move it to the videos section :0) Edit: It seems as if this thread was merged with another thread, so now the thread contains vids and discussion. I see no harm with that trend remaining so all can feel free to discuss and post your opinion, feelings, and post your videos in this thread,
If u find bugs with your films, go to Bungie.net and navigate to the Community forums and report the broken/messed up files there, in the bugs thread
The quality isn't that bad, it's about the same as my cap card. But it is stretched nicely. And where's the gun reticule?
the game doesnt show the reticle unless you leave 1st person then re-enter it. Thats not a bug, thats just how the game is. They said they're looking for some kind of fix, but I doubt theyll have anything
When a new host is selected in a game (my example), the hud reappears, but the player box with your GT shows. But, 3rd person views are probably the best way to go here.
