Hey Everyone! So I've decided to give myself a bit of a challenge and remake the massive Halo 2 map, Containment.The reason I say it's a challenge is because BTB maps are not the type I'm used to creating. If fact, I don't believe I've ever made a BTB map. This combined with the high standards I have for remakes and the fact that larger maps tend to have a greater risk of hitting the 1,024 item limit, I'd say it will be challenging. My goal is to create the map exactly to scale based on timed distances. This will scale the map up a little bit since the movement speed has increased, but it will feel just like it did in the original. I'm not compensating for sprint because I think the map was too big for Halo 2 honestly; I think it will play much better in Halo 5. I'll use this thread to post small updates when I feel necessary. Well shucks, it looks like someone else already remade it! That's what I get for having a family and being to busy too forge often. lol Oh well, I think I'm still gonna move forward with it. I've noticed somethings just by watching the video that I'd do differently.
