Map title: Rejection Though the humans perished, their machines live on. 4-10 players. All gametypes supported. Download Map Oh man, here it comes. Description: Rejection isn't depressing. Nope! Rejection is used to describe how the waste is rejected from wherever it comes from. Confused? Yea.. =P Rejection is an Asymmetrical map, based incredibly loosely off of Terminal, and High Ground. The main (and only, to be fair) feature of this map is the epic "train", that upon disappearing, respawns every 10seconds. It may seem quick, but in the heat of battle, sometimes it just doesn't come soon enough. Q: But what are the train lolz? A: A dumpster, propelled by two mancannons. Hehe, Guardians reign on this map =D Q: Haz r it been intarlocked?!?!?!?!?!? A: Yes. This map has been interlocked to perfection. If anything isn't interlocked, it's meant to be that way. If it is, then huzzah for you. As with all my maps, due care and attention has been made to set this up for every gametype. If you want to play it, you can, and it will have been set up to play as well as possible. Weapons and Equipment: 3 x Assault Rifle 7 x Battle Rifle x 7 2 x Shotgun (High respawn/ less spare clips) 2 x Sniper Rifle (High respawn/ less spare clips) 5 x SMG 1 x Spiker 2 x Magnum 1 x Plasma Pistol 3 x Plasma Rifle 1 x Needler 1 x Mauler 1 x Machine Gun Turret 11 x Frag Grenade 7 x Plasma Grenade 2 x Bubble Shield 1 x Power Drain 1 x Regenerator 95 x Respawn Point (So you know you'll get a good spawn ) Images: Defense's base. This is where the Flag spawns on 1-Flag gametypes. As you can see, it's been interlocked, stocked with a few weapons, and there are multiple ways in. The bottom right houses the remaining Defensive area. Above the train track is a Headlong-esque building, and where the Attackers will most likely pour through. Here's a better view of the Attacking platform, and the Headlong-type base. Cool huh? Woah! Hang 'Em High style dumpsters? Wonderful for cover and housing a secret weapon or grenade. The Attackers' spawn points. If you really feel the urge for a 2-Flag CTF though, the Flag will spawn here. Don't. I said don't forget about the back passage. That bubble shield could become invaluable.
looks alright the interlocking is nice.. the 1 half tho is a bit plain and you could turn the bridges around... thats all tho. good job keep forging, :-D
sloppiness is a problem, lack of interlocking is not, i think you were a bit confused. this looks like a nice idea with a couple of interesting concepts, like the little rails on the bridges. this shows that you have potential, just work on your interlocking, and you will improve greatly.
I like the idea of the train...I always like terminal remakes. It would be insane if there were more than one...or if one went through the base and across a flag spawn.
Looks pretty fun. I agree with Blaze though. The one part of the map is plain and definetly turn the bridges over (it looks way better) Other than that, it looks like it could be a very fun map.
i liked terminal way back when and this reminds me of it, but as i kno ur pretty tired of hearin this, you need to clean up your interlocks. dont feel bad, im workin on it myself, and its tough, but keep forgin, and then maybe one day youll get featured
Cool idea with the dumpster as a train...wish I could DL so I could see it in action...Keep up the good work and I expect to see more maps from your creative mind in the future!
ye good map, would b better if u turned the bridges over and interlocked them into the box, some nice features and i like how thers a good source of cover
Thanks for the comments guys! The reason the bridge isn't turned over is because they look like train tracks more this way. Apart from that keep up the comments
Looks well designed, and I'm sure that H1 and H2 fans will have some fun on this, since parts of the map are derived from the old maps. I will DL, run around in Forge, then add my thoughts and suggestions to this post. EDIT: Okay, this was an interesting map at least. Good idea taking concepts from past maps and throwing them in this one. The "train" was pretty fun to stand in the box that catches it and hope you dont get crushed. Sometimes, the dumpster would tumble and not go all the way back in the "catch box," so it was a bit suspenseful waiting for the dumpster to spawn and be flung directly at you. Other than that, I had some fun throwing down bubble shields, regenerators, and power drains on the track and having the dumpster plow through them and see what happens. The power drain's effect is particularly interesting, try it out sometime. Other than that, this map is great for die-hard fans of H1 and H2. H3 junkies will have a little fun because of the dumpster that barrels through every so often. Great job on this map in the end.
I hope everyone enjoys it, but if H1 and H2 fans enjoy it too, then that's awesome. There's also 4 plasma grenades in each open single box, reminiscent of Battle/ Beaver Creek. Awesome.
nice interlocking, but the "hang'em high style dumpsters look a little boring...maybe place some random interlocked cover instead??? otherwise great job
By the time it came to adding cover, I was running out of money. That said, I like the Hang 'Em High style dumpsters. Cheap and effective =P But seriously, thanks for the comments. I'll try not to overdo the dumpsters in future.
