ive been starting a new channel on youtube all about gaming. it is almost in release but there is one problem... I have the hauppauge (hope I spelled that right) and I want to do a lot with my channel but I can't get the hd pvr to work. Ive got all the wires and such but when I start up the software it gives me a black screen. When I try to capture it says capture failed. I use a laptop and use the software that they gave me. I have the tv set to 720i and have all the wires connected. I think it's the settings on the software incorrect or something but if you could help me anyway that would be great. ive been working on halo maps for my channel and aswell as this site to show you guys. if any of you know about this thats great. ive looked online and it doesnt really help. if you could get someone or something to explain it to me that would be great thanks in advance.

Try lowering the xbox's resolution to 480p I've read into hauppauge and heard of this issue before.

While my original comment was edited (Something not really appreciated as I did not break ANY forum rules)

Let me state to the original poster that you can place the link to your site in your signature so we can see what you are working on. This is according to the moderators response.

    PS:

So why edit my criticism out of the message?
