My first Forge map has been completed for a while, but I didn't want to release it until I have a small montage showcasing it. I already have saved multiplayer matches with me and my friends playing the map saved on my 360, and I have a decent capture card. But, I'm wondering what is the best video editing software to use for this sort of thing. Are there better alternatives to Windows Movie Maker?
Everything is a better alternative to windows movie maker, I would recommend Sony Vegas for premium editing or Adobe Fireworks. -Donuts
You, know id be willing to film, and edit the video for you, i need something to do when im off work.
That'd be great, but it would mean me having to give you what would feel like orders, because I already envisioned how I want the video being made. But if you're willing to do it with an outline and some creative freedom then I'd be very grateful. In exchange I'd lend you my self-proclaimed photoshop skills whenever you'd need them.
its arlgiht just pm me the stuff, and dont worry, i already have my own self proclaimed photoshop skillz.
So wait, how do you capture your videos? I mean, I know a few ways to capture, but I want the best and cheapest. I'm a video editor and use Avid Xpress Pro and Media Composer at work but use the Final Cut Studio on my personal laptop. I just want to know what the best way to do it is. Thanks!
If your computer is powerful enough, which it must be if you do video editing, then just pick up a decent capture card which will do the trick.
But I don't really have the ability to install a capture card on a macbook pro... although I can use something maybe with the pci express slot.... or usb... I'm just looking for some good usb video capture device....
