Reactor

    Ok here is another one. This is Reactor a small symmetrical map focusing on frantic gameplay in 4v4 and solid fast paced gameplay in 2v2. The idea behind this was to be a human version of Zealot, a human ship, where you play in the reactor room.

    This map has:
    4x DMR
    4x Needle Rifle
    2x Needler
    2x Plasma Pistol
    2x Plasma Repeater

    2x Shotguns (Reduced Ammo)
    1x Sword
    1x Rocket Launcher (2 shots)

    I like how you have multi levels around the entrance to the bases, it definatly keeps it from being too plain. you have alot of cool structures in here and the layout seems fairly sound. what is your budget like? i ask this because you used alot of regular pieces just because they fit, pieces that are knows as "cookie cutter" pieces[no relation to cookiebubba] also your walls and floors are the same, i would suggest using decorative braces as a floor. When used properly decorative braces are really a forgers best friend. This map has alot of potential in my opinion it just needs to be brought out aestheticly.

    ShKai maybe I do have somthing with always "complaining" about aesthetics.. hahaha, maybe you shouldn't give me crap anymore.I dont really have anything to say other than its super small and the ceiling seems like its going to fall on my face.

    To both the above I agree completely thats why this map is second to be released, this map was a collaboration amongst a few friends and i wanted to stick to our original designs becuase i spent weeks trying to make it feel more open without deviating too much. The asthetics here are lacking McGreen, i agree, originally the center was a circle of glass covers surrounding a kill ball with two grav lifts to simulate the reactor however it caused an insane amount of lag in splitscreen. McGreen you've also seen my other maps and know that this one is severely lacking compared to the others.
